Re: MCU Topic

The GIGANTIC cast reveal for Doomsday yesterday.

I’m worried all the original X-Men characters coming back are just back as cannon fodder so they can show us how much of a threat Doom is.

Re: LEGO!

I took all the unused ‘green’ elements from all the new road plate sets I bought for my Lego city and built this green space. I need to find a base plate to stick it on. I made space for the statue from the 60026 Town Square set and the eventual plan is to build a sidewalk and a wall with an arched ...

Re: LEGO!

Over the years, I’ve accumulated several bags of extra tiny elements from all the sets I’ve purchased. I’ve decided to start separating them out into similar pieces. You can see translucent elements on one side, technic over there, etc. I’m not even sure if this is all the bags I have. I’ve seen peo...

Here’s the Ghost Rider stuff. Spirits of Vengeance:Spirit Rider oneshot. Kushula is an Apache from the 1800s who bonded with a spirit of vengeance when her tribe was wiped out by US Cavalry troops. She was also that era’s Sorcerer Supreme. When Dr Strange recruited a bunch of Sorcerers Supreme from ...

This week’s books. Absolute Batman 6. Some of Bruce’s friends find out he’s Batman. After he recovers, he heads out to Roman’s big fancy yacht and beats everyone up and stabs Roman in the eyes with his Bat-ear-knives, then he shuts down the servers broadcasting kill $ totals to all the masks Roman p...

Re: The Fate of Batman

In its advertising materials, DC is referring to Hush 2 as ‘H2SH’. What the hey does that even mean? It’s too hard to add a ‘u’ and a space? Are we supposed to call it Htoosh?

Because now I am.

Re: Anyone give a shit about the Oscars?

Best Pic winner Anora is on Hulu/D+ so I thought I’d watch it to see what the rumpus was. After watching it, I can only assume that no other movies were released in 2024 and this movie was chosen by default having no other competition in the category. Similarly, I can only assume no other women acte...

Re: What have you watched lately?

Kraven the Hunter. As far as Sony Spidey movies go, it’s closer to the Venom movies in quality than it is to Morbius and Madame Web. But that’s a low bar. The CGI is terrible(the “lion” and the Rhino were just hard to watch). Russell Crowe is at the ‘take a paycheck and chew scenery’ stage of his ca...

Bricklink Series 7 final five dropped today. They won’t be available to buy until February of next year. Sushi restaurant looks awesome. Also want the Frigate Fortuna to go with my Imperial Flagship. Alchemist’s Hut if I can afford it, but not high as the other two. Not interested in the Antiques or...

This week’s books. Absolute Superman 5. In the present, Kal is hunting down the Peacemaker who killed 23 innocent civilians. He gets contacted by the AI Brainiac algorithm, who offers Smith's location if Kal meets with him/it. In the past, Krypton finally explodes and everybody except Kal dies. Amaz...

Re: LEGO!

Built my Brick Cross station. Have to find a suitable location in my Lego city, as I’m running out of room already. I didn’t add the train tracks on the back side since there’s no room to add additional track anyway.
