the FX for the mini vs. the ongoing series are definitely low-budget. they got quite a bit better for the main run. i tried to get my daughter into this series, but she wasn't into it at the time. might have to try again.

i'm hearing $170 or $180, which is not terrible compared to all the $300+ sets out there.
