I must confess that I am at an impasse in my musings upon the appeal of connecting an electronic box to one's television and controlling a small character on the screen. While I do not even deem fit to own such a vulgar contraption as a television, I feel that to introduce interactivity into such a medium for all intents and purposes negates the original intent of viewing the television monitor.
As many of the chaps on this website seem to have some vested interest in such pursuits, perhaps one of you may deign to explain to me what the draw of these electronic contests may be to you?
