The Hasbro SW fans choice poll
Ok, next month Hasbro is letting all SW Fan sites vote in a new poll. We have an advantage here with SSG and Actionfigs.com. We can pretty much vote twice here. We should gather up a few figs that we want and push for them. Is everyone down for this?

Re: The Hasbro SW fans choice poll
Has there been any info as far as the format of the poll yet? As in are they giving us a list of characters, or will there be some sort of vote-off?

As I understand, it's just a poll (like the ones on Rebelscum) to decide which old figures will be in the fifth and final wave of Saga Legends next spring, so it's not that exciting.
These are the basic figures I still need (other stuff not included):
*Princess Leia (Expanded Universe)
*Mara Jade
*Admiral Motti (already re-released in the Briefing Room set)
*Princess Leia with Sporting Blaster
*R2-B1 Astromech Droid (though I doubt they'd re-release him with the new version coming out)
*Queen Amidala (Battle)
*Sio Bibble
*Pit Droids (2-Pack)
I also still need the Covert Ops Clone Trooper (yeah yeah, I know).
So I'll probably be voting for Sio Bibble, Queen Amidala (Battle), and the VTAC Snowtrooper on a basic card, at least.

Shit. I can't think of a good signature.

Ok, since it is going to be re-packs:
Wedge (from internet exclusive)
Blue Snagletooth (K-mart pack, with straight bar section)
Does anyone think VOTC Yoda, VOTC Lando, or some other vintage figure are worthy of voting for (not counting Boba Fett, Vader, Stormtrooper, or Biker Scout that have already been rereleased)? Hell, why not the Snowtrooper?
How about an ewok 2 pack with the one from the Saga glider and one from the POTJ AT-ST? Give them the ewok accessories from the Saga accessory set.

Lando pegwarmed like a bitch at my TRU, but perhaps he'll fare better as a basic figure? Many of the VOTC/VTSC/VTAC figures have since been improved or should be improved instead of just re-released.
As I stated above I'd like to see the VTAC Snowtrooper again, as they all sold out before I could get any extras (and $10-$12 is too much anyway). The Tusken Raider might be a good choice as well.

I pretty much ignored the Vintage figures until the Biker Scout wave. The first few I saw were the Luke and C-3PO, and they were bad.
I saw Lando peg warm for a long time, but never saw the price drop. Never did buy him. How about R2? I guess I have a version of him since I got the Early Bird mail in, but his doors are glued shut.
Was Yoda that bad? I should pony up the cash and buy a real vintage complete Yoda.

R2-D2 has since been reissued (as you said) in the Early Bird set, with snowy shit on his feet in 2006, and with muddy shit on his feet later this year, all with his door glued on. You're not really missing too much without that extra little detail; both doors are open at the same time so it doesn't look as great as it could.
Yoda's not too bad but he didn't need to be VOTC. The regular OTC one is better. For some reason on the VOTC one, his belt goes under the huge cloak (which is inaccurate) and is very flimsy so might break if you try to put it over.
