that's all i've got. weird. i think there are quite a few missing from that list, as anarky pointed out - grimmy from classics at least. some of the harry potter figures should be on the list - sirius black especially.

And here's what else WOULD be on my list, if I had the chance/resources/money.

6. PITT. I fully intend to have him once I can track down all the LCBH figures.

7. Masterpiece Voltron. Never was a a really big fan of him in the 80's, but I can get behind a cool looking robot made from five mechanical lions. It would look pretty sweet on my shelf.

14. Balrog. Fuck. I wanted this bad. The only time I ever saw him, the guy wasn't even selling him. He just had him on display in his show window with a "Do Not Touch" sign next to him. Cockteasing asshole.

17. Masterpiece Megatron. The one time i saw him, i did not have the $120 the guy wanted for him and now he's fucking impossible to find. Especially since they recalled him because he looks "too real" in gun mode. I would only ever have him in Robot mode. I kick myself for not just taking the hit and figuring out how to pay for it later on.

22. Snake-Eyes. On the fence with this one. Obviously would be relatively easy to track down, but I'm so hesitant to start in on collecting all these Joe resculpts. I know I would go over board.

23. LEGO Millennium Falcon. Still wonder why I never picked this up. Besides the nearly $100 price tag. It's one of those things where my LEGO fanatacism wasn't high enough on the day I saw it to buy it. But it's a damn nice toy.

24. Keldor. Damn Exclusives. Missed my window of oppurtunity.

43. Soundwave MP3 Player. This just sounds like a cool idea. If you're going to have an iPod or whatever anyway...

46. Devastator. Another fence. I'm pretty sure I made the right decision when i skipped him the first time. I guess i just want them to do a really kick ass updated version of the original.

54. Ultimate Iron Giant. i don't even remember this one. But IG is fucking cool. If I had seen it, i'm sure i would have grabbed one.

72. Stormshadow. Same situation as Snake-Eyes. I COULD grab one pretty easily, but I just don't want to head down that slippery slope. And I'm kinda holding out for G.I.Joe Legends.

73. Grimlock. Yeah, I know, I skipped him the first time, but now i kinda regret it. Unless those Masterpiece Grimlock rumors come true, then I'm getting THAT sumbitch.

87. Crazy 88 Director. Feh. Another fucking Exclusive I skipped out on at the time and regretted later.

Honorable mentions go to

5. Space Ghost. Looks cool, but I don't need him. I feel like I "want" him because of the pop culture hipness gratification i would give to myself. "Look how cool I am for having a Space Ghost figure on my shelf."

29. Lex Luthor. I fucking HATE that stupipd green power suit, which is why I skipped this figure. But it is Lex, and i am starting to get more into the DC figures, so i may cave and get him at some point.

36. i already have a couple of Predators. Just not this particular one.

50. Hawkman. Same here. This is the big thighed McGuiness version. I preferred the Michael Turner or even the Alex Ross version.

51. Monev the Gale. Never heard of this guy or this toyline, but he LOOKS pretty fucking cool.

61. Bowser. All those Mario Kart figures looked fun. I would have bought them on clearance if the oppurtunity had ever arose.

63. Catwoman. I remember seeing her and Batgirl at the comic shop. Good figures, but too small for my tastes.

65. Kaneda. Dead on accuracy, and the bike looks balls awesome. But no articulation whatsover, and I'm not that big a fan of Akira. Would have been more in the Space Ghost "I've got Kaneda on my shelf" frame.

69. Godzilla. Well, who wouldn't want at least ONE Godzilla figure, just to say they have one?

80. Starscream. Kinda like Microman Catwoman. Would be kinda cool to have a tiny Starscream, but not essential.

Ironically, for all the Star Wars stuff I have piled up, and as much as is on the list, I only have the Naboo Starship.

My stash:

93. Nightcrawler (X2 X-men United, Toybiz)
Can't disagree.

88. Cobra Commander (GIJoe Sigma 6, Hasbro)
Totally wrong. This figure is a piece of turd. I got Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow (neither of whom are on this list, and should be), and was so impressed I got CC, too. He blows chunks.

86. Ice Armor He-man (MOTU, Mattel)
Getting beyond the "this figure is so totally fucking useless, and the sixth fucking useless He-Man in two waves," I can't really disagree. There are a lot of other MOTU figures not on the list that should be, though, like Samurai Skeletor.

85. Jack Skellington (Nightmare Before Christmas, NECA)
Can't disagree.

83. Wolverine, Brown Costume (Marvel Legends, Toybiz)
Eh, not bad at all, but not one of the best Legends. Where's the love for Bishop and Red Iron Fist? They both should be here.

81. Stormtrooper (SW VOTC, Hasbro)
I suppose. The fact that this is like the 15th sculpt and they still can't get the fucker accurate sorta hurts.

77. Hulk (ML Face-Off, Toybiz)
Regular or variant? Because that would make a difference. In either case, not a top 100 figure.

75. Meister (TF Alternators, Hasbro)
Truthfully, I've not opened him. I would put Shockblast on the list (same body, but the Shockwave arm and head look bitching on this sculpt).

74. Batman (DC Super Heroes, Mattel)
Can't disagree.

73. Grimlock (TF Classics, Hasbro)
Definitely agree.

72. Stormshadow (GIJoe 25th Anniversary Cobra 5-pack, Hasbro)
Haven't opened him yet.

70. Stephen Hawking (Simpsons, Playmates)
I think I have him? I started losing interest in this line early, but think I got Dr Hawking just because it was such a fucking cool idea.

67. Captain America (Marvel Legends, Toybiz)
Can't really agree, though he is damned nice.

60. Green Goblin (Marvel Legends, Toybiz)
Definitely agree.

58. Boba Fett (SW VOTC, Hasbro)
Yeah, probably should be on here.

57. Hulk Buster Iron Man (Marvel Legends, Toybiz)
As much as I hate the useless Iron Man resculpts, this is easily one of the best ML figures.

53. Colossus (Marvel Legends, Toybiz)
Yeah, he's one of the best, too. Note there are no Hasbro ML figures on the list.

52. Unicron (Transformers:Armada, hasbro)
He gets a lot more points for the "they finally made a fucking Unicron figure!" than for the actual toy. He looks cool displayed with the PVC figures, Titaniums, and/or Robot Heroes.

49. Juggernaut (Marvel Legends, Toybiz)
Yeah, bitch! Don't you know who he is? (I'm sure it being Toyfare, they made that joke already, since it's not been funny for a year or two.)

46. Devastator (Transformers Classics, Hasbro)
Fuck no. Like I said, the two gift sets from Classics were the only ones that blew. Jetfire belongs here (albeit much higher on the list), as do Bumblebee, Hot Rodimus, Prime, Ramjet, and Skywarp (who both look cooler than Starscream).

42. Sweetums (Muppets, Palisades)
Fuck yeah!

40. Kwik-E-Mart with Apu (Simpsons, Playmates)
This one's in a box somewhere. I remember it being okay, but not especially cool. It pissed me off that so many major characters in this line were only available with playsets.

38. Fozzie Bear (Muppets, Palisades)
Can't really disagree.

29. Lex Luthor (DC Super Heroes, Mattel)
I, uh, suppose. Bizarro is much, much cooler.

25. Swedish Chef and kitchen( Muppets, Palisades)
Now this was a playset one could get down with. I think it had three thousand parts.

24. Keldor 2003 SDCC Exclusive (MOTU, Mattel)
Beautiful figure, though not really better than the plain Skeletor.

22. Snake-Eyes (25th Anniversary GIJOE, Hasbro)
Uh, which one? They both look cool. I've not opened one, and had to take the other back for really cheap-ass construction. That sorta works against it in my mind.

21. Super Grover 2005 Con Exclusive(Sesame Street, Palisades)
Abso-fucking-lutely. I can't bear to take this out of the box because of the beautiful artwork. But I can still see how cool he is. It's really a shame Palisades went under. Hell, he should be top 10.

19. Royal Naboo Starship (SW Episode 1, Hasbro)
Uh, did they take it out of the box or just read the specifications? It sounds cool in theory, but had little going for it other than the scale. The only feature that worked was the escape pod, which looked cool. I know most will disagree, but I think the Power FX X-Wing belongs here instead.

18. Galactus, Marvel Legends BAF (Toybiz)
Hell yeah. I think he should be much higher than Sentinel. Giant Man probably belongs here, too.

15. Adventure Kermit (Muppets, Palisades)
Haven't opened him, but I can't see a reason he should outrank other Kermits.

13. Darth Maul 1:6 scale(Lords of the Sith, Sideshow)
Haven't opened it, am wondering why I paid so goddamned much for it, but he does look bitching. I guess Asajj hadn't come out when this list was compiled, or she'd be here.

11. Sentinel, Marvel Legends BAF (Toybiz)
See #18 above. Definitely should be on the list, though.

5. Space Ghost (Space Ghost Coast2Coast, Toycom)
The only drawback is the other figures were tough to find, and the line was so damned expensive. Great figure with awesome accessories, though. IIRC, he was the first figure of ML quality I ever got, several years before ML.

4. Trapjaw (MOTU, Mattel)
Definitely. I might even put him higher. I love this fucking figure that much.

1. 20th Anniversary Optimus Prime (Hasbro)
Is there any disagreement at all on this one? This is the LORD GOD KING OF ALL TOYS!!

I would definitely love to get the Voltron and Megatron, even moreso than the others on the list I'd like. Voltron cost too much. Even already having Prime, it was more than I could spend at the time.
Eternal Padawan wrote:7. Masterpiece Voltron. Never was a a really big fan of him in the 80's, but I can get behind a cool looking robot made from five mechanical lions. It would look pretty sweet on my shelf.
I'm kinda the opposite. Voltron is the only show I'm still planning to collect the whole run of. I'd recommend checking it out if you have time, giving it another chance. The bonus features on the DVD sets are actually worthwhile, too, for a change.

BTW, Megatron wasn't exactly recalled. It was just really fucking hard to get here because of import regulations. The stores that were getting and selling them "above the table" had to actually have someone open each one and insert an orange plug into the gun barrel prior to them coming into the US. I'm all for kids not getting shot by cops. But a $100 collectible item not being available? That's fucked. I didn't want to have a butchered figure I couldn't verify the condition of at that price. I'd kill to have one unaltered. They're bringing Starscream here, so maybe they can bring Megs over, even with some crazy purple details or something.

I've stuck to only collecting Star Wars, but I thought about starting Transformers or the 25th Anniv. GI Joe. I might get a few Indiana Jones when they show up.

The only other toys I have are a couple McFarlane hockey figures, some various Starting Line-up baseball, hockey, and football, Bob and Doug McKenzie from Strange Brew, and the McFarlane Hanson Brothers from Slapshot.

I've even narrowed down my SW collecting to only the 3-3/4" line. I quit getting the Legos about the time they quit making those mini-ships. Never did start collecting the Titanium line or that other small-scale line. Maybe I'll try to sell off some stuff if I can talk my wife into selling crap on e-bay. First to go would be my Starting Line up collection. Then probably the Star Wars legos, unless my kids want them. I have a bunch of sports cards that probably can be sold off, too.

EP,

I went into WM the day before Christmas and put the Lego Falcon on Lay-a-way. When I was ready to get it out, the day before it was due out, I went to pick it up and it had dropped to 25 bucks clearance price. Helluva deal.

Right. That 14 inch dildo in your ass isn't a toy, it is an "adult novelty".
