I love Modern Marvels, but I have to say the bottom of the barrel is nearing when they feature "The World's Sharpest..." as the featured "marvel".Seven wrote:Ironically enough I was watching a Modern Marvels marathon today on the history channel and saw her commercials.
Back to Flo, she's hot and neither You Tube nor Google Image turned up anything for her.

Which chick from the Mercury commercials? They've got so many, I sorta tune them out. (I'm not like Rollo, and don't have money to spend on something that lets you skip commercials and tapes shows that'll be on fifty more times in the course of a week anyway.
)
Modern Marvels has been scraping the barrel for so long, I think they actually dug through it and are getting to bedrock now. Same goes for the History Channel in general. I love watching history, and I can live with current events or even their strange UFO/Bigfoot/Atlantis obsession, but I don't give a fucking rat's ass about fishermen or lumberjacks (unless they sing about putting on women's clothing and hanging around in bars, in which case they're fucking funny). Put that shit on Bravo or Lifetime where it belongs.

At the same time, though, I never change the channel. Just because I made fun of "The World's Sharpest..." doesn't mean I didn't watch it!anarky wrote: Modern Marvels has been scraping the barrel for so long, I think they actually dug through it and are getting to bedrock now.
Yeah, they've really been overdoing that stuff lately. I wish they'd have just stuck with "History's Mysteries" and left it at that.Same goes for the History Channel in general. I love watching history, and I can live with current events or even their strange UFO/Bigfoot/Atlantis obsession
My guess is that you're referring to "Deadliest Catch" on the Discovery Channel, which "AxMen" is nothing more than a cheap, land-based rip-off of.but I don't give a fucking rat's ass about fishermen or lumberjacks
And do not, under any circumstances, talk shit about "Deadliest Catch". I will eviscerate you and poop into your bowels so I can watch you shit out my shit. That show is tits.

i have the DVR from TWC, but it sucks. we got a tivo for xmas from my dad, but we've still not hooked it up as the wireless adapter he got is on the list of ones that DON'T work with it(I'm not like Rollo, and don't have money to spend on something that lets you skip commercials and tapes shows that'll be on fifty more times in the course of a week anyway.
y'know once it's networked, you can download a program that allows you to copy stuff to any other computer on the network? that's freakin' sweet!

When they have shit like Oxygen* as a Modern Marvel, they've definitely hit the bottom of the barrel.
*I've never actually seen Oxygen on Modern Marvels, but they have had some dumb shit like that, which is definitely not modern.

Stumbled upon that annoying Progressive.com chick - Stephanie Courtney.
She's actually kinda cute when not in character.

Dude, she's the voice of Joy from Tom Goes to the Mayor. I don't know if I could EVER get aroused by that.
Shit. I can't think of a good signature.
