I was deciding whether to post this here or in prattle and decided here.
I saw that The Iceman came out this week and thought "Ha. Some X-Men fanboy is gonna be bummed when he rents that one." Because instead of sitting down with a big bowl of popcorn and an Orange Crush thinking he's going to finally enjoy the long overdue solo adventures of Bobby Drake, he's gonna see General Zod and Captain America as hit men in the 70s. Disappointing.
So the premise is to find a movie with a SuperHero for the title and then explain why the movie sucked because it wasn't actually about the titular Hero.
Fer instance, Wonder Man isn't about Simon Williams. It's a Danny Kaye musical from the 40s.
Quicksilver has nothing to do with Pietro Maximoff. It's a Kevin Bacon flick about bike messengers.
And Rogue isn't about the X-Men's sassy southern belle. It's a Jaws ripoff about a giant crocodile in Australia.
There are lots more.

There was another movie in the 80s called Iceman, about an unfrozen caveman. I remember going apeshit because I thought Spider-Man's amazing friend had his own movie.
There's also The Karate Kid. And G.I.Jane.
