Godammit! I found the Air Trooper and the Dreadnoks comic pack in the past two days, and thought I was up to date!
BTW, jjreason: The only two "really fucking cool" figures from the Cobra Legions set are the Air Trooper (currently available carded) and the Stinger Driver (who is, for some odd-ass reason, packed in with the upcoming HISS, though the HISS Driver will be carded around the same time). The others are black Cobra Commander (like the Joe vs Cobra line from about five years ago), red Storm Shadow (similar to the Devil's Due uniform but not exact), and the Cobra Soldier with the red bandana. (It looks like the Air Trooper is wearing a red bandana, and comes with an interchangeable standard-issue Cobra helmet, so he could double as the red bandana Cobra if you're really concerned.)
Bring on the fucking Viper already! We should've gotten him before the frigging Iron Grenadier Destro!

Compelling evidence, but you overlooked the fact that Snake Eyes has blonde hair. Duh.
What's up with the two minutes of black screen at the end, though?

I just saw that there were two minutes and figured there was something at the end.
But then the timer stopped, though it showed another minute. Weird.
Gotta agree with that JJ guy elsewhere: he's a Snow Serpent. Were he Snake Eyes, he would have a pet wolf, too.

Fuck, man, I'm not naming any names, but that response, "Nothing I haven't done."
I'm calling bullshit.

There's no way I'm collecting another line, but TORPEDO is one awesome looking action figure. Just "wow."

Turns out I was sort of wrong, for two reasons.
The Stinger Driver packed with the upcoming HISS looks like he's going to have some camo, maybe in the Python Patrol style, so he's not a 100% accurate representation of the vintage figure.
I also was re-reading some of the old comics this morning, and I'd forgotten that he wore a black version of the classic hooded uniform when he returned around issue #100. Until he briefly switched to two different armored suits later on, he only wore the black version until the end of the series.

I'm now at
17 figures

. I had a chance to grab some air troopers and the grey vehicle driver for REALLY cheap at a toy show a couple of weeks ago and am kicking myself for not doing so. I've looked at the Air Trooper and passed on him about 5 times - but always because of the helmet. I never noticed he came with a stock Cobra one as well. I might grab one the next time I see it. I'd really like about 3 or 4 more of the black-masked regular Cobra dudes as well, but I'm not going to race around looking for them. Whatever jumps in the boat will do fine.

Got the Air Trooper today, he's a wicked Cobra fill-in without all the carp on. Thanks for pointing this out, Chux!!!!

I had a full-on chubby before I even paid for the figure, and I've jacked off six times already while staring at it just since setting it up this morning.

Dammit, this new mod has a fixation with jizz and boners. Sounds like KH to me.
