The music is snooze inducing. Rey's theme is bland and generic. Seriously, I've been listening to fuckloads of stuff by guys who write music for movie trailers and this is like something they'd knock out in a couple of hours not the work of an alleged musical genius. The entire TFA score is pants. It's all just blah and bland and generic shite. The only reason the box office is so high is because of fanboys repeat viewing and squeeing every time BB-8 makes baby noises. It's just fucking dismal.

Slight change of subject: I want a Darth Maul movie. With Ray Park and Peter Serafinowicz returning, as well as Ian McDiarmid and maybe even Ewan, Liam, or Samuel L if the script calls for it. Dark as hell, as violent as Disney will allow. Not a direct adaptation of Shadow Hunter, Lockdown, or the Episode I Darth Maul Journal but in the same vein. Work in the "he killed a Jedi or two shortly before TPM but, since there were no surviving witnesses, the Jedi Council never actually knew" angle from Shadow Hunter. Show him in action the way we thought in 1999 that we'd see him be for at least one, if not two, more movies.
Long shot? We're getting a Boba Fett movie, aren't we? And it doesn't matter how much better ESB is than TPM, Maul dominates Boba Fett. One is a black-and-red ninja with horns and a lightsaber who tracks down a Jedi Master who doesn't want to be found, then later kills him and only dies because he takes for granted the guy's apprentice is as good as dead. The other is a guy in green armor who remembers his dad was once fooled by a Jedi dumping trash from his ship, then stands around until he's accidentally killed by a blind man.

Darth Maul is more bad ass than Boba Fett. Bounty Hunters just kill people they are paid to kill. Sith are evil by definition. Oh, and Darth Maul is really Snake Eyes. Funny how Ray Park can't be in a movie without his face being covered by a mask or paint.
Never really thought it too much about it before, but other than Palpatine, all the bad guys from the prequels were one and done. The only major villain in the OT to die before ROTJ was Tarkin.
Are they really doing a Boba Fett movie? I know I shouldn't be surprised. The only spin offs I heard of were Han Solo and Rogue Squadron.

'Young' Han Solo Actor Shortlist Revealed: Report
Disney and Lucasfilm are inching closer to finding their young Han Solo for the upcoming untitled "Star Wars" spinoff.
Sources tell Variety that after seeing thousands of actors, execs have cut the list down to about a dozen actors with Miles Teller, Ansel Elgort, Dave Franco, Jack Reynor, Scott Eastwood, Logan Lerman, "Brooklyn" star Emory Cohen and "Everybody Wants Some" actor Blake Jenner among the names making the cut.
NDAs and test deals are still being worked out, but producer Kathleen Kennedy and directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller will begin testing the new group with a decision expected in the next couple of weeks.
The film does not shoot until next January, but sources close to the situation say the reason for such an early decision has more to do with another "Star Wars" film currently shooting, rather than the untitled "Han Solo" pic. While insiders were unable to confirm, the new Solo could have a small cameo in "Rogue One: A Star Wars" before appearing in his own standalone pic.
"Rogue One" still has a month of shooting to go and is supposed to be set between "Episode III" and "Episode IV," making this new Han Solo age appropriate for an appearance in the film. Disney and Marvel used the same strategy for their new Spider-Man by casting Tom Holland early in order for him to cameo in "Captain America: Civil War" before appearing in his own film.
With the exception of Eastwood, who's 29, Disney and Lucasfilm seem to be zeroing in on actors between the ages of 20 to 25. The studios tested actors as young as 17 to as old as 34.
Possible 20-25 year old Han Solo cameo in Rogue One?

The long hair Philipino gang member that was after repayment from Solo. Apparently that whole gang was comprised of fucking awesome fight coordinators that work on martial arts movies in Asia and it was going to be a real brawl - but they didn't have time for that because RATHTARS.

Isn't Rogue One supposed to be the story of stealing the DS plans, which would put it immediately preceding ANH?
Why would young Han Solo and not Harrison Ford aged Han Solo be in the movie? It's like a few weeks or months earlier.
