Re: So, What comics did you buy this week?
IDW publishes their shit in batches.
Transformers Classics UK Vol. 2
G.I. Joe Classics Vol. 14
Snake Eyes: Cobra Civil War Vol. 2
Transformers Vol. 7: Chaos
So, uh, what happened at the end of Chaos? The painted art was a bit tough to follow at times. Prime opened the Matrix, and, uh, that's the last we know, right? Possibly Galvatron is dead. Millions (?) of years later, Ironhide is on Gorlam Prime with kids that appear to be G1 Powerdashers with G2 insignias... he thinks he's the last, but suspects Prime and Megatron are still around somewhere.

Re: So, What comics did you buy this week?
I got 14 13 books this week. And two books for the boy. And certainly did NOT get AvX 1. Because that doesn't come out until next Tuesday at midnight.
AR Presents: Real Science Adventures 1. Atomic Robo Anthology series that only cost ya 11 quarters! That's cheaper than anything else on the rack! Yet another reason why Atomic Robo is awesome and if you don't read it, you're dead inside.
Avenging Spidey 5. Spidey develops a nerd crush on Captain America when he finds out Steve was/is a Golden Age comic artist. Liberty Bonds.
Avengers 24.1 A Point One issue. The Vision is back. And he reconciles with She-Hulk and confronts Magneto about how he "died" way back in Disassembled.
New Avengers 23. Skaar reveals he was Steve Rogers' double agent the entire time, and kicks the New Dark Avengers butts.
AvX 0. Spotlights Wanda and Hope in two short stories leadin into Epicus Maximus starting next week...
AvX 1. I absolutely DIDNT buy this issue today. Because although it was shipped this week, LCSs are supposed to sit on it until next Tuesday's Midnight release. And therefore, having not purchased it, I couldn't comment on it here. And if I did, it would be purely speculation and conjecture. That said, Cap and Cyclops both decide to be rational for all of six seconds before they throw down and Cyke eye blasts Cap off the fucking page!! Also, if I'd read the comic, I would've found the "AR" logos distracting. If I had bought and read it. Which I didn't.
Daredevil 10. Matt fights a surprisingly limber and spry MoleMan, after Moley steals the carcass of an ex-crush from the cemetery.
FF 16. The denouement to Hickman's FF saga. New York is rebuilt, Val gets lectured about lying, Johnny Storm becomes Peter Parker's roomie, and Doom raises an other dimensional army. Because he is Doom.
Ghost Rider 9. FINAL ISSUE(fer real this time). Johnny Blaze takes back the mantle of GR. Alejandra gets burned and becomes a new villainess.
Cobra 11. Cobra Commands finishes. The Cobra High Council is dead. The New Boss(do you know who it is yet, nark?) culls his lieutenants, leaving Bludd and Tomax on the run, and Stormshadow MIA.
GIJoe Infestation 2. Mind Control yadda yadda. But anarky will be happy to know Dee-Jay shows up for a couple pages!
Marvel Index 8. FINAL ISSUE. The exploits of Frank and Logan come to an end. And there's no new Index starting for the foreseeable future, so after 3 series and 40 issues, it looks like low sales have kiboshed it.
Transformers RID 3. An energy discharge resembles a bombing and all the factions start pointing fingers, as the fragile Post-War government struggles to stay relevant.
X-Men Legacy 264. Weapon Omega shows up at the school, and accident absorbs so many powers, he becomes a giant bomb. For those of II keeping track, the school has been threatened like 20 times since the Schism, and Utopia hasn't been bothered once. Suck it, Professor Logan.

I think you're (I'm?) confusing Dee-Jay with Cool Breeze.

I was about to ask why I'd be excited to hear about a Battleforce 2000 loser who was so lame he didn't even get a moronic "futuristic!!!11!!" vehicle.

Just Daredevil #10 this week since my LCS was shorted a bunch of comics this week, including all 26 ordered copies of The Dark Knight #7. He was pretty pissed.

Pretty much 50 percent Avengers again, with 2 spideys & a GI Joe mixed in for good measure.
I'm behind on reading & need to get a list of things I've missed together (Battle Scars, Fearless, Magneto, Avengers Sanction, that type of crap) - was there a 2nd GI Joe annual after the Cobra one?

There was an 'ARAH' Annual, but none in the 'IDW'-verse. Just the Cobra Annual.

Re: So, What comics did you buy this week?
12 books this week, and 13 more out of the 50 cent bin.
Age of Apocalypse 2. The strike force attacks a resurrected Cyclops and discovers Dark Beast has found a way to bring ALL the dead mutants back to life.
Amazing Spidey 682 and 683. Ends of the Earth begins. I've decided to wait and read this in one sitting.
Avengers Academy 28. Pym decides against forcing the Runaways to become Academy students. But only after everybody fights.
Daredevil 10.1. A Point One issue. Murdock decides to defend a villain who tried to kill him. And DD takes the OmegaDrive fight to the 5 Criminal Empires.
GIJoe 12. In the wake of the disastrous campaign against Cobra, the Joes bury their dead, including Snake Eyes(who's not really dead). Their budget is cut by 2/3rds, Hawk is sacked, and they get "outed" on TV by Cobra's new friendly face, Zartan.
New Mutants 40. Douglock defeats the Ani-Mator virus and Doug deals with his fears.
Scalped 57. Didn't read it. Waiting for the end. Only three more issues.
Thunderbolts 172. The 15th Anniversary of the TBolts(and by extension, Onslaught and Heroes Reborn, but let's focus on the positive). The Current Time Travelling team comes up against the Original team right after their debut.
X-Club 5. Way over my head. All I know is Madison Jeffries is now boinking Danger.
WaX-Men 8. Logan's legs are crushed from his adventure in space, so he's in a wheelchair. Sabretooth attacks Beast's GF in space. A bunch of students go stir up trouble on the casino planet.
WaX-Men:A/O 4. Quentin goes into the Construct to explain to Logan and Armor why it's acting fudgy. Prof. Rachel prepares to fight Wolverine's berserker body.

You didn't buy the big fanwank issue that came out this week? I'm shocked, Rollo. Shocked.

If you'd read last week's list, you'd know that I didn't buy the aforementioned fanwank issue...this week.

Re: So, What comics did you buy this week?
I thought another one came out this week. I seem to remember bitching about Logan slicing up Ben's face and then apologizing for it.
I'm just weird in that I've been fucking sick of "hero vs hero" stories for almost thirty years. Except for the rare occasion where there's a logical reason for it. (I still think Batman vs Punisher in the Avengers/JLA crossover is the best, and it was entirely off-panel, just one snarky comment about Batman having to beat up a vigilante with a skull on his shirt. Second would be the Batman vs Captain America "fight" in the same series, where they both figure out almost immediately that they're on the same side and evenly matched.)

Re: So, What comics did you buy this week?
It's a bi-weekly series, so the next one doesn't hit for another two weeks. But there's also the VS! series that is in between the main series. So who knows.
