As jj mentioned a few pages back, we saw TLJ together, along with my gf, and it was jj's second viewing, just for context
The film blew me the fuck away on every level- several times i was shocked and looked over to jj who just smiled and said "yup" or " I know" and that was all that could be said about whatever had just transpired.
Oddly i think most of the true outrage against the film comes from people who resent what, to me, seemed to be the core message of the film- "time to grow up, kids"
I think my perspective is strongly coloured by what i have been through in life, and tempered by the fact that i have a bunch of buddies in the 65+ age group and they have a tendency to die off at an alarming rate as time moves along, so the whole story of maturing in the shadows of death kinda hit me where it counts
Holy Carp! I was just think of you a couple weeks ago when I posted a video in the music secion of Ronnie James Dio & Yngwie Malmsteen.

yes!

haha i have mostly been defeated by issues with my shitty laptop, the thing is barely holding on and is not good for much beyond facebox- i have never had a cel-phone, so i use facebox as a phone basically, like for getting in touch with my social/adl worker etc. I was bound to return now that there is so much star wars

The Last Jedi is on Netflix now, so I decided to give it another viewing. It’s saying something when this is the first SW flick I didn’t immediately buy on DVD/Bluray the minute it came out.
It’s a real Jekyll/Hyde movie. There are some great cinematic moments coinciding with some real mushy dogshit. Like the director wanted to focus on one or two characters, but was forced to use all the characters from TFA, so he just farted out some shitty b-plot to fill time and didn’t put any effort into it.
And that crap is all anyone is gonna remember about the movie.

Canto bight looks like a college project - far behind even the droid factory in my opinion. When compared to Maz's palace, it's shameful. Jekyll & Hyde is 100 percent right.

Rando, I'm hitting you up for white dupes on the card trade. I'm down to needing about 75 white cards to complete everything back to 2015. No pressure, and don't hesitate to counter if there are white dupes you're hoarding or whatever, I didn't look for that.
EDITED: Thanks for the first batch - I'll keep nagging until you ignore me or I have everything.

Here's a Rancor for no reason. Ok, it's so that I can try to link to it from the Canadian sight. Stand by....

I'm through most of the arduous part, just have to remember to skip 5:1 when I get to it. Just finished 4:1-4:3 & was happy to have stayed awake for most of it. Hopefully it picks up.
