Step Brothers

movies are cool. here is a place to talk about how cool they are. or maybe how much they suck, sometimes. like that fucking piece of shit 'mac and me'. worst fucking movie ever, a two-hour ad for fucking coca-cola.

Truth. "Wake Up, Ron Burgundy" sucked ass. But "Anchorman" is probably Will Ferrell's best movie.

No probably about it!
"Once there were brook trout in the streams in the mountains. You could see them standing in the amber current where the white edges of their fins wimpled softly in the flow. They smelled of moss in your hand. Polished and muscular and torsional. On their backs were vermiculate patterns that were maps of the world in its becoming. Maps and mazes. Of a thing which could not be put back. Not be made right again. In the deep glens where they lived all things were older than man and they hummed of mystery."

Well I always get torn between that and "Old School". I tend to favor "Anchorman" more, but still, you've gotta love Frank the Tank.

Oh I love Frank the Tank. No doubt about it. And I fucking love Old School. But he owned the character of Ron Burgundy! That movie was his, whereas he shared more of the spotlight in Old School with Wilson and Vaughn. Both are great movies though.

There's a hilarious new "red band" trailer for Step-Brothers.
It looks like it'll be everything that Talladega Nights wasn't*.

Man, I still can't believe you didn't like Talladega Nights. It really must be a "I grew up around this sort of idiot" thing.

Seeing Doc Brown's filly dropping an f-bomb in the trailer sold me on this. I'll definitely check it out.

After seeing so many previews for the shitty-looking Love Guru and Zohan, this one should be great.
Shit. I can't think of a good signature.

For the record, I was really not interested in Talladega Nights but a buddy brought it over and left it here and I put it on thinking I was probably gona hit "eject" after 10 minutes- I probably watched it 10 times over the next week

Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo was also like that- I heard the first one sucked ass but the sequel is totally fuckin hilarious

I feel the exact opposite on the Deuce Bigalow movies - the first was a classic, the second sucked hard.

But with a name like Deuce, it can't be all bad right ????

A deleted scene from Step Brothers.
If the deleted scenes are this good, then how can this movie be as bad as some dicktaster from elsewhere is making sound?
