I might just cancel Mrs A's and go. She actually might be taking a summer school position that's Monday thru Thursday, and we still only have one car, so I might have to miss Wednesday and Thursday. (She's not as interested, and the extra income would definitely be preferable to not having it. Besides, I have this nasty habit of fasting whenever all the food around me is exorbitant, and she's not very good about that, so that's another thing that'd be cheaper.)

If that's the case, can I still bother one of you guys to snatch up the Joe exclusives? Just knowing how fast those sonsabitches went last year worries me, since Hasbro seems to have no idea how to manage demand. Two years ago, I saw people coming out on Thursday with multiple cases of the exclusives, and they ran out on Friday.

If I'm going, I'm definitely going Sunday. AKA "half price graphic novel day!!!"

It's official: I am still going. Mrs A didn't get the summer school spot, so she's probably going to visit family and shuttle me back and forth (still, as of now, cheaper than parking or trolley).

I got Arctic Snake Eyes in the mail today. Glorious figure. I'm going to find the incredibly shitty copy of the digest that reprints GIJoe #2 (my first Joe comic) and take it on the off chance that IDW's unveiling of the new GIJoe comic will feature an appearance by a certain Japanese-American (not quite) star of MASH. That is one man I will stand in line for two hours to get an autograph from. The old Joe comic and the brand new figure (with the filecard mostly by him; not sure about the new sentence added on about Kwinn) seem like they'd make a nice combo.

Ok, here's the plan for Comic-Con. Rollo gets off work on Thursday and buys that toy for JabbaJohnL. Seven buys Kidhuman the Emperor. Anarky buys Kidhuman the Dr. Who figure. While you guys are doing that, I'll be boning your mothers. Got it? Good.

Ok, I dont need the SW exclusive. To hell with that.
