That could make it interesting.

Hungry Hungry Hippos would be awesome if only they build on one fact that most people are unaware of: hippos are ferociously territorial and the deadliest animals in Africa based on the number of human victims.

That. And the fact they fart out of their mouths!

I read (maybe here, even) that Kevin Smith is writing Clerks III.

So I guess his MO is to do a J&SB universe movie, branch into something else, watch that other movie (or movies) fail miserably, and come back to do another Clerks movie.

I'm not complaining or attacking, just that twice he's said he was done with this world until his attempts at other types of films bombed.

He also said Clerks III was his final directing gig ever. He's "retiring" after that. Time will tell if it's a legitimate retirement or a Celine Dion/Stephen King/Michael Jordan retirement. I'm leaning towards the latter.

He's still doing his hockey movie Hit Somebody as a tv mini series.
There's also a shitty looking animated Jay & Silent Bob animated flick about to come out.

He's been saying for a few years he wants to quit movies. He just doesn't have the same drive he used anymore.

Off-subject, but I wanted to fucking punch Stephen King and Michael Jordan over that shit. Jordan went from tearfully saying that his father saw his final game before he was murdered, to playing as a shadow of his former self and no one giving a shit. King went from saying the Dark Tower series was going to end everything he'd worked on, and there was no point to writing anything beyond that, then not only put out the shittiest ending to a great series ever made (sorry, George Lucas), but kept writing.

Celine Dion, I just always wanted to punch anyway.

At least Ozzy was honest about it, retiring without any major caveats attached, then just saying it was boring as fuck.

I have commemorative Wheaties boxes stashed in the basement from Michael Jackson's first retirement. Yes, boxes. Plural. Asshole.

Are they still sealed?

Hmm. I am morbidly curious as to what 20+ year old Wheaties would taste like.

Independence Day 2. No Will Smith because he is "too expensive".

I'm sure Will Smith would sign on. As long as they wrote a part for his brat and gave Jaden top billing in the film. And called it "Tyler Perry's Independence Day Two". Medea, Martin Lawrence, and Jaden Smith team up to fight aliens.

Ron Howard is talking about making another movie based on the Elora Danan character from Willow. While reading the article, I realized I don't remember anything about Willow other than it had Warwick Davis and Val Kilmer in it.
