yeah, i remember having two of those... they were another one where their transformation was simply standing up from a 'touch your toes' position.

It went from touching your toes into a fucking ROCK, it was awesome !!!

My buddy and I talked a bunch about this last night- we're gonna do one of our "fantasy free" versions of a sort of "preview" for an episode that will not actually be made- it will feature no robots, just humans playing the parts of various GoBots- I think you'll enjoy it, we just gotta cast the sucker- we're thinkin of makin it based fairly tightly on an actual episode outline

no, it went from a rock where the robot inside was touching its toes, to a robot standing up that wasn't touching its toes...

ahhaha, yeah... it's... abstract. i wasn't around all weekend, and now that i see it, i need some more time than my lunch break affords me in order to wrap my head around the 'meta'-ness of it.

Damn straight it's abstract, kinda planned it like that, I just gotta figure out who is gonna be what

Only joke I'll post here is that Leader 1 is OBVIOUSLY Optimus Prime, and a lot of the yuks will stem from having to NOT be transformers- stuff like "Guardians, TRANS-" then someone else says "Leader 1 NO!!!" then a chastened Leader 1 says "Oh right- CHANGE INTO THE OTHER THINGS YOU CAN BE and ROLL OUT!!!!"

So is there going to be costumes involved? Even thought I know I watched the cartoon, I couldn't tell you anything about a single episode. Well, other than some crappy robots turned into vehicles and fought each other. And Scooter was a wuss.

costumes will mostly just be properly coloured clothing, tho the female bad-guy will have a special get-up. I think I am playing Cy-Kill and will probably wear red shorts and a white T-shirt- our buddy Johnny will be Leader one dressed mostly in grey. Ideally red-haed Rob will be Scooter or Turbo (red themed from the hair down)

It WILL be very abstract but we're shooting for a real short format deal, well under 3 minutes
