There was another commercial for the 300 sequel. They played Black Sabbath's War Pigs as the background music. It was as awkward as it sounds.

Oh, Black Sabbath, how many movies will you pimp your music out to?
I think it was Foolery who suggested it, but, if GoBots weren't owned by Hasbro and more or less incorporated into this multiverse bullshit Transformers has become, someone should get the rights to do a film version of that and make the kickass movie Transformers should've been, just using GoBots characters. Who owns the rights to Convertors or any of the other multitude of 80s TF knockoffs?

Hmmmm. Not seeing the allure, but then I didn't see the allure of whatever the fuck that Bruce Willis space thing was either that everyone jerked off about, or Firefly for that matter. At least I'm trying (yet again) to watch Firefly.

You mean The Fifth Element? Please tell me that's not the case. I can deal with people not liking Firefly or The Fifth Element, but I'm afraid disliking both is unacceptable. If you dislike both Firefly and The Fifth Element, you are worse than Hitler and I cannot, in good conscience, be your friend anymore. Please correct me; I like you and would hate to have to summon the ghost of Claus von Stauffenberg to blow you up. And he'd totally do it; guy has a major crush on Inara.
As for GotG, it looks fuawesome. (You guess which two words are combined.) I still think it may be too quirky to be the big champion, but it has a serious shot of being the best.

I showed the trailer to four people at work today. Two guys and two girls. The guys thought it looked fuawesome. The girls were meh.
Based on this anecdotal research, we must assume jj has a vagina.
PS "What a bunch of a-holes." is gonna be my new catchphrase for awhile.

The Fifth Element was shit.
And that movie is the sole reason I can't watch anything with Chris Tucker.

Not even Jackie Brown? That's a damn shame.

Haven't seen Jackie Brown.
All I know of that flick is the famous Sam Jackson scene "...accept no substitutes."

It also has Bridget Fonda getting fucked in the fanny.

Guardians of the galaxy is going to wipe its butt with everything else. It looks like someone finally remembered that these are movies based on comic books. I never want to see another batman, superman or spiderman movie ever. I'm sick of them. GOTG at least offers new characters to the movie going public. A public who are responding better to uplifting fun laced movies than dour apocalyptic doom laden introspective ones. These are tough times and people want escapism and fantasy not a reflection of the real world, or comic book movies taking themselves far too seriously.
RAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!!!!

I'm looking forward to Cap 2, Godzilla, X-men, DotPotA, and I think Guardians has the potential to be the most fun of all of them. But I think Transformers 4: Jurassic Park will take home the cash prize. It'll also piss off its own fanbase the most, though TMNT could just as easily win that crown. Spidey 5 looks like cotton candy diarrhea, 22 Jump Street could be mildly amusing (the first one was fine but not the revelation that everyone made it out to be), and I don't know shit about Hercules (though if Danny DeVito were to reprise his role from the Disney animation in live-action, and play him like Frank from Always Sunny, I'd be there opening day).
