Sounds like the WM wave was pretty hard to find. I'm going to troll ebay a bit and report back about the prices - if they're out of hand, we'll know they weren't distributed very well.
EDITED: Had a look, man that's a big wave! Most of the figures can be had for $9.99 plus shipping - what are they retailing for down there? I thought I saw a display that had them marked at $5 or something... but that had to be too low for a ML figure....

They're $7.83, in theory at least. I've found half the wave, and a friend got me the Monsters boxed set that no one seems to know for sure whether it's a WM exclusive or not.
More importantly, I just put together the latest BAF. Onslaught SUCKS!! Sure, I shouldn't have expected much from a figure based on the single worst marketing ploy ever launched by Marvel Comics, but I hate Gambit and they made a sweet figure out of him. Onslaught looks silly, has some pretty bad joints, and won't stay together. Oh, and the kicker: he's the same height as Abomination! I just bought six figures to put together a seventh that's the same height as one of the six? WTF? Coming soon: Marvel Legends brings us build-a-figure Wolfsbane, Widget, Artie, and Leech.

I have no interest in Onslaught whatsoever. I'm completely done buying from that wave - unless I find an unmasked Norman Osborn.
For the record, I only bought Loki, Abomination and regular GG. Blackheart actually looked like a cool figure, but I just can't buck up for a cut-rate villain from a book that was good reading 12 years ago.

This is the opposite of the Giant Man Wave for me. From that wave, I want/wanted only Ant-Man, Captain Britain, Kitty, Havok, and maybe Thor. But I want Giant Man, so I have to get them all.
From this wave, Abomination kicks the shit out of the Hulk Classics version. Loki is cool, and no way can I pass on Pyro or Lady Deathstrike. And, of course, Green Goblin is the greatest comic book villain ever, or maybe a close second behind Joker. Pretty tight race between the two. And Blackheart, yeah, you're right about him being a weird choice (especially before his daddy), but the figure is sweet. So this time, I get six figures I want, and it's sort of like a free build-a-figure. Good thing he's essentially free this time, since he blows.

I just did some opening tonight - cracked out GG and Loki (and in the process had my first good look at the Abomination and 1st app Hobgoblin figures I had just put away without playing with).
My ONLY gripes with these are ridiculous. Loki's knees were slightly rubbery, but not as bad as the polio-like affliction faced by my 1st app Spidey from last year's ML series. Other than that - he's so LOTR, right down to the sword - that he rocks ass. LOVE the face, and the extra bonus painted cover on the included comic was also a very nice touch. Abomination is perfect - I wouldn't change a thing. GG is everything I expected, a copy of ASM 122 is a delightful pack-in. Too bad about the glued on Pumpkin bomb, but I can live with it.
Other than that, a reprint copy of ASM 238 in with the Hobby would have made things better than perfect, but the figure itself if pretty great. I don't get the glued on pumpkin bombs, though.

I finally found the rest of the WM Wave this morning. Want to know the problem with the case assortment? One of everyone except Sentry, Weapon X, and Sabretooth. Sentry and Weapon X, of course, come in two different versions each, and the Weapon X variant is the only one with the final piece of Giant Man. (I think variant Sentry was originally supposed to have it, too, but they screwed up like they did with Maestro's pipe.) And Sabretooth is quite possibly the worst Legend they've made.
So one of each figure, including variants, per case, except for Sabretooth. What were they smoking? Just about everyone who collects these is a completist, or will at least want to build Giant Man. WM only puts out a case at a time, so as soon as a collector sees it, the whole case is gone. Except for one Sabretooth and maybe one of the Sentries, which explains why I've found lone Sabretooths in the past.
Why not an extra Kitty? Duh, everyone likes her, and she's in the new movie.
Say what you will about Hasbro taking over, and I know there will be major drawbacks, too. But I'm kind of looking forward to an end to the shoddy paint, stiff joints, and overuse of rubber.
