I swore loudly at my TV.
It wasn't broken.
That's about ten times more shocking than the Maul reveal in Solo.
This shit is huge, so watch it before it's spoiled. (I've already seen some FB pages outright giving away what made millions shit their pants today.)

Re: How I realized I was over Star Wars completely
Okay, so this brings up the question...just how famous or infamous is that particular alien species to the rest of the galaxy. And just how famous or infamous is the most famous member of that species? You would think Palpatine would’ve done his damndest to purge anything pertaining to said person/species, so does Mando know what he’s looking at? I’m sure we will get answers as the series progresses, but that’s the question I was left with at the end of the episode.
Other than that, I thought Mando had a peculiar gate while he walks and I think it’s because he can’t see shit in that helmet. Like when he was walking down the stairs he was deliberately lifting his knees up. The more I noticed it, the more I can’t unsee it.
I was also like “Is that Brian Posehn??” and it was and I know there’s gonna be a fuck ton of little cameos like that because everybody is gonna be like ‘aww shit, I wanna be in Star Wars...’ and I’ll just have to deal, but honestly it pulls me out of the story. I don’t mind Carl Weathers, Werner Herzog, etc because yeah you have to cast someone as characters, but little ten second characters like Posehn’s character should just be unknown actors IMO.
But other than those quibbles(and I’m sure I have more) I thought it was solid.

God damn.
Second episode is racist as fuck, but amazing.
Really, didn't Martin Luther King nailing his theses to the Birmingham jail end these offensive caricatures of Jawas?[/flornbi]

I'm just hoping they don't turn the little green friend into another Pete & Mary Jane baby - disappear after the opening act never to be heard from nor brought up ever again.

Favreau said this a pretty important character for the future of Star Wars, not just this series.
It was cool how they invalidated a big part of Rebels, where The Mandalorian stated and shows that Mandalorian culture shows that they never remove their helmet.

I’m suspicious of the space-worthiness of that ship after they “repaired” it. There’s about a billion moving parts on there and if they forgot one piece or the Jawas gave them back the wrong stuff(because, honestly, how accurate is the Jawa inventory system?) he’s fucked once they head into space.

JP might be upset to know Jargo is THE gay. I'm sure there's room for at least two.

Re: How I realized I was over Star Wars completely
The Mandalorian takes place 9 ABY.
"Baby Yoda" is 50, making his/her birth 41 BBY.
The Phantom Menace takes place 32 BBY, with a 9-year-old Anakin, making his birth 41 BBY.
This Star Wars. There are no coincidences in Star Wars.
