I'm too lazy to photoshop Anakin's and Yoda's heads on these bodies, but it would be one hell of a EU story.

It's subtle, but the credits of E3 confirm these guys are the remnants of or an offshoot of Death Watch. The big guy with the gatling-style gun? "Paz Viszla." As in "Pre Viszla," leader of Death Watch during the Clone Wars.

Also possibly of import is that the Darksaber that united Mandalore under one ruler (before an apparent genocide) was made by a much earlier Viszla.

Found a timeline of all the major events in Star Wars. You guys probably knew all of this, but I didn't know the things from The Clone Wars and novels. And apparently, I missed some episodes of Rebels.

That legit got spoiled for me at school in grade 2. I'm sure I've told you dicks over & over again but it went a little something like this:

"So you're the biggest star wars fan?"

"Yeah"

"So.... you know Darth is Luke's father?"

*Stunned me*

"Yeah....." nodding, glassy eyed.

I should have killed that kid.

Funny thing is, the timeline is good, but the chronological listing of shows and movies is off.

Sorry, technically a spoiler, but a crazy minor one, so I didn't purple it out.

That was weird - like the Simpsons episode that ended with "real life" versions of them. It freaked me out. Still only about halfway through ep4, I'm finding Gina Carano (sp?) tough to watch.

Star Wars has never been known for its stellar acting, but she’s...not great.

That fucking yoda is so goddamn adorable, it should be fucking illegal.

I really want to be the fly on the wall when Favreau was pitching this show to Lucasfilm. Because, on the surface, he’s walking in there with like “So, it’s basically a Boba Fett tv show” and they’re like ‘yeahokay,but what’s the hook?’ and he’s like
“Yeah, that’s what will get SW fans all ‘yeah!cool!’ but here’s what the show is....” and then there’s this really long pause for buildup, and then he says “...Baby Yoda.”
and you know they fucking tripped over each other to give it the green light.

Speaking to Vanity Fair, the filmmaker revealed that Episode 9 will introduce a host of new Force powers – including some that will "infuriate some fans." Reasoning why, he told the publication: “It was really important that we not just redo the things you’ve seen, but add new elements—which we knew will infuriate some people and thrill others."

So, the guy that essentially remade ANH to start the trilogy said he doesn't want to just redo things. Got it.

I enjoyed EpV of the Mandalorian. Not as good as 1-3, but a decent recovery from the blah 4. Familiar places, faces, & a very nice de-specialization of something from the OT.

The reviews are out for the Rise of Skywalker. It sounds like this is going to be like the other movies where half the people hate it and the other half will defend it because they love Star Wars no matter what. In fact, there are a few reviews calling it "average" or "ok at best".


I have no plans to see this movie anytime soon, so I'm not worried about spoilers.
