I really like the Destro set, I think that's the best sculpt/paint job of him yet, it is SO close to the vintage one. Plus the lady jaye figure rocks cuz there's no stupid hat! And I didn't have a Roadblock, so that set worked out awesome for me

"Pyramid of Darkness" looks like the weakest link, with a repaint CC, repaint Snake Eyes, and repaint Major Bludd, though Quick-Kick is a must. And "Arise, Serpentor, Arise" makes up for it, with an army builder and three new figures (though the skeleton of whoever is kinda a lame idea).

I don't mind this one though because I never found Major Bludd carded or this Snake Eyes with the visor instead of the goggles.

Picked up Cobra Commander and Trip Wire comic pack today, very awesome to have a new sculpt of Trip Wire, another of my favorites from the 80's Joes

I was a bit taken aback by the price as well, but the list of carp he comes with is pretty much never-ending. He actually looks TOO loaded down in the pic I attached. I noticed they also had a Cobra Commander in what I'm assuming must be the outfit from the upcoming movie (Nazi-looking black trench coat over a more naval-inspired CC outfit).

I wish I could justify spending 119 on that Snake Eyes, he is so very cool!

Went on a toy run last night with Turbowars, it's sad, I don't even look in the star wars section any more, go straight to Joes and I picked up the Destro/Iron Grenadier comic pack last night. I'll revisit Star Wars in 2009 when that first ANH wave comes out.

I just ordered this.

I was going to likely pass. I saw them at Comic-Con and thought they looked cool, but figured they'd be expensive. Even after shipping and tax, it comes out to $5.15 a figure. (Disregard the repainted Scrap-Iron and Major Bludd, and they're still only about $6, cheaper than they are in stores.)

I saw the Rattler and Conquest at Target this morning when I was buying my Marvel Legends. Well, I saw the Conquests on the shelf and the 2 Rattlers up at the checkout at 8:02AM when the scalper was paying for them.

But still. I saw them.

I also saw a couple BATs and Snow Serpents. I almost bought them, but I'm glad I didn't since my Legends were one-fucking-hundred dollars.

I'm kinda in a bind. I was never a fan of the Conquest, but loved the Rattler. Trouble is, the Conquest has a new figure, and the Rattler has a reissue Wild Weasel (probably with one new detail painted on).

So you're thinking buy one of each and throw the Wild Weasel in the Conquest box and take it back?
