Funny that Nintendo supposedly discontinued the WaveBird about a year after it became impossible to find, and said it would shortly be available exclusively through their online site, but that was six months ago and they still aren't offering it.

I looked at my Mii Parade today for the first time in ages, and there are 57!!
Whoever did Gung Ho, you inspired me to make Snake Eyes. Sure, I can't do him entirely accurate, as the darkest skin tone for the face is dark brown, but he's pretty featureless except for makeshift goggles I made out of the other features.
Also, whoever did Elvis, you nailed it. I was trying this morning to get him and gave up.
Got into Mii-making mode this morning, and churned out Barack Obama (one of my better ones, I think), Elton John, Olivia (my daughter's favorite character), and Willie Nelson. I was going to do Freddie Mercury, but I figured one gay 70s rocker was enough for now. Also, started to do Slash, but I realized there's not a top hat.
I tried a few days ago to do cartoon-style Speed Racer, but it absolutely did not work. I'll get a photo to work from and do movie Speed instead. I also want to surprise Mrs A with a Legolas Mii at some point. And, since I've got Willie, I may as well do Johnny and June Carter Cash. Maybe Kris Kristofferson as well.

I made Gung-Ho, Rock 'n Roll, Dr. Mindbender, Sgt. Slaughter, and Roadblock. I started the Fridge, but I think I deleted him. Man, I made those a couple months ago. Elvis and Abe Lincoln were two of the first Miis I made.

I didn't see the others. How'd you get Mindbender's monacle, or did you just give him specs?

Just gave him regular glasses. I'm not really fond of any of the GI Joes I made and I was considering deleting them.
Our TV is still out so I've only been able to play on our 13" TV. That's fine for Wii Fit. Mario Kart is sort of hard.

In case you've not noticed, on jogging mode in Wii Fit, whenever a lone dog runs past you in the same direction you're going, sprint past your guide and you'll follow the dog on a new path. You can do this multiple times, if enough dogs pass you. The most interesting one I've found so far is on the Island Lap--if you start in the city, there will be three dogs. The first (a gold dog) will lead you up the mountain and over that suspension bridge that you can see from various spots on the island.
I've found several of the Mario marks. I'm coming to the conclusion they don't actually do anything.

While playing Mario Kart and Zelda on a 13" TV has proven to be too difficult, my wife got Endless Ocean. To play on a tv that small, we have to sit on the floor right in front of it. The game isn't bad and I can't wait to see it on the larger tv. The music in the game will put you to sleep fast. I'm actually to the point where I can't stand the voice of the woman who sings most of the soundtrack. The good news is that you can put some mp3s on a SD card. The bad news is that while you are diving, it only plays one song you select over and over. I find some of the longer songs by Pink Floyd or Tool work ok. The less vocals the better.
Yesterday I finally tried Smash Bros. I think I like it better than the Gamecube version. My wife and kids left for grandma's house on Friday, so I played this for about 3 hours yesterday and managed to get 30% in the story mode.
And whoever came up with the BMI for Wii Fit can lick my balls. The thing told me my ideal weight is 140 lbs. Yeah, right. I haven't weighed that since I was 16. With my bone structure and build, I'm shooting for 175 lbs.

I'm on the cusp of being overweight, according to the BMI ranking on Wii Fit. I'm 5'8" and weigh about 154. Not bragging, but I have very little fat, and I'm not particularly muscular, either. I guess it's figuring relatively few people will be in the normal range, so it wants to over-encourage folks?
I also noted that if I gain more than a pound in 24 hours (not too difficult a task), it asks me what the causes are. And requires an answer. That's the part that bugs me.
The early Wii Fit ages are totally out of whack, too, since it doesn't provide great instructions on those balance tests in the Body Test. There's at least a two-day learning curve, which it doesn't account for.

I'm 5'-7" and a hair over 200, so it is calling me obese. Yes, I admit, I have a gut and need to lose weight, but don't consider myself obese. I can look down and still see my junk without the aide of a mirror. Back in my early 20s, I was running 2 miles 4 days a week, working out 3 days a week, and playing hockey 3 days. I was 165-ish back then. I have managed to drop almost 10 pounds in the past couple months. My long term goal is to be at most 180 by the new year.

i'm just 6' and at my heaviest was pushing 220... i'm down to ~205 now simply based on eating less, and plan to train up for the newburgh-beacon hudson river swim in august... i generally have to fool myself into getting into shape... i should be a lean 175 or a buff 190ish. 205 is obese.
