Target had Lost in Space on blu-ray for $5.

Don't judge me. At least I didn't buy Battleship.

:D

Big Lots has had some new stuff. I saw a couple of Superfriends collections for $3. Didn't bite, though.

I've had an itch to rewatch that POS for several years now.

That's one those movies that I know isn't very good, but I like it for some reason.
I guess you could call it a guilty pleasure, but I don't feel guilty or embarrassed about anything I like.

Kill Bill Vol 1 and Vol 2 were both $5 at WM.

Target apparently ordered The Tale of Princess Kaguya on blu-ray extremely inconsistently. Most stores got none, some got a couple... and it appears a few got a ton despite there not being a large concentration of Studio Ghibli fans in the area. While most (at least those who actually got the damn movie at all) had it for $24.99 (first week sale on anime? geddoudahere!), those with way the hell too many have marked it down to $19.99 already, with there being an additional 10% off with Cartwheel this week. Add in the 5% Redcard discount and the nickel for using a bag, and I got it for $17.04.

Maybe not a steal, but I expected to have to wait until Costco inevitably runs a sale next year to be able to get it for less than $20. Which is how I have to pick up last year's The Wind Rises tomorrow.

Miyazaki is the Spielberg of animation, except he doesn't have a 1941 or Crystal Skull stinker to fuck up his record.

Grand Budapest Hotel and GIJoe Rise of Cobra both from the $5 WM bin.

I'm looking forward to watching one of them.

The opposite of a cheap dvd buy, but two of my local Walmarts still have 30-40 2 disc dvd copies of both Star Trek and Tranformers (3 I think) for $21.95.

Found GIJoe Retaliation at TRU for $5.99 and I had a $5 RewardsRUs coupon that expired in 3 days.
So I got it for $1.06
Is that cheap enough for ya?

It is stuff like this that makes me wish we had a "like" button.

Nah, he said "Retaliation," not "Rise of Cobra." :)

Was that one watchable? All I really saw was the mountain ninja battle clip. I tapped out pretty quick on ROC.

Retaliation is worth watching. It could've even been a great Joe movie if it hadn't had to spend a good part of the movie cleaning up after the first. Firefly is especially good. I'd recommend watching it.
