You're doing yourself a disservice. Firefly/Serenity is WAYYYY better than Blues Brothers. And I'm saying this as a fan of Blues Brothers.

Joliet Jake begs to differ. Of course, he's kind of obstinate.

Well, I if I was forced to choose between never watching Firefly again or never watching Blues Brothers again, I'd snap my BB DVD in two about thirty seconds from now. No contest.

The Jackie Robinson movie 42 comes out in a couple weeks. It's got both the pilot of Serenity and the Captain of the Millennium Falcon in it. And the writer/director is Brian Helgeland. Who wrote the L.A. Confidential screenplay. Which is where the name Rollo Tomassi comes from in the first place.

So... :yeaha: :yeaha:

Helgeland also directed a masterpiece that combines the talents of the Joker, Hoban Washburne(aka Steve the Pirate), JARVIS from the Iron Man movies, and King Robert Barontheon. And Solomon Kaine in a minor role.

Saw a preview for that today, and immediately thought of it having Wash and Han as well. I want to see it just for that, and not only because it looks like a good movie.

Here's a fun fact/trivia bar bet for you.

Nathan Fillion played Private Ryan in Saving Private Ryan. That's a true fact. Look it up.

Yes, he did.
Paul Giamatti, Ted Danson, Bryan Cranston and Vin Diesel are also in there.

Damn, I totally forgot about that. I was thinking, "No, you dumbass, that was Matt Damon!" But, like I said, I forgot that whole bit.

That's why it's perfect for a Bar Bet. Just like the body count in First Blood.

Highest death toll in a movie (unless it's been eclipsed by something else along the same lines) would have to be Star Wars. First an entire fucking planet is offed, then a planet-sized battle station.

Just found this site: http://moviebodycounts.com/Top-Movies.htm

They obviously didn't count all of the implied deaths in Star Wars.

The guy playing Jackie Robinson also had a bit role on Castle a couple years ago.

I like watching Castle just for the Firefly references Fillion slips in.

The show itself ain't too bad either.
