Not to speak for all the idiot cops, but my impression of us glomming on to the punisher icon is more about "I'll be going home to see my family at the end of this shift, regardless of how you try to stop me " than it is about operating like a vigilante without regard for the law.

Apparently Marvel is adding editor Roy Thomas to Wolverine’s official ‘created by’ credits alongside Len Wein, Herb Trimpe, and John Romita….and it’s generating a lot of rancor amongst industry professionals.
Seeing as Thomas is the only one of them still alive, there’s no one to refute his claims and historically editors didn’t share credit for characters even if they commissioned them.
His name will be added in the credits of Deadpool & Wolverine out in July.
Thoughts?

It sounds like he only said make a character called Wolverine and make him Canadian.
Apparently that counts as a co-creator now.
