JJ, you might be right, but the wording sounded like the writer thought Dr. Strange was an alien from the planet Morglyflamp VII.
Tom, you might be onto something. EW had an article claiming to explain it, but the whole thing was describing how the two were different from each other and the comic.
Just thank God that, as much as the MCU borrows from the Ultimates, Pietro and Wanda weren't all Lannister.

The X-Men QS was more entertaining anyhow. That will be fucked up though if they AvX and there is ANY shenanigans or weird lustful glances between he and the Witch.

Re: Avengers 2 Discussion - SPOILERS EVERYWHERE SO STAY THE FUCK OUT
Watched both Thors, both Caps, and both Avengers over the past few weeks. Couple of theories:
1) Banner was trying to replicate the Super Soldier serum. Which Erskine says in Cap 1 amplifies the personality as well (Steve becomes more heroic, Skull becomes super duper evil).
So what if Banner was far closer than he realized, and it worked? Only he was so fucked up, with various repressed personalities, that it gave these personalities ways to manifest physically? Even Mrs. Anarky noted that Hulk acts like two different Hulks in Avengers 1, and his flying a plane in A2 is total "non-green Hulk" behavior.
Banner also had brief indirect contact with the Mind Gem in A2, which could bring other personalities (cough, Fixit, cough, Professor) to the surface. Professor also seems a.logical result of this Banner making peace with the Hulk(s) we've seen.
2) A lot of bad guys have been disintegrated by Infinity Stones. Bad guys of the "these guys come back weekly" variety in the comics. Although the "I'm not dead anymore this week" thing wouldn't work in the films, I can't help but wonder if Thanos might have a small army that includes Red Skull, Ultron, and Ronan. It would certainly be different from the comic, and give us, in effect, an almost Secret Wars (original) twist. And explain why "War" instead of "Gauntlet."

apparently Fixit was supposed to come to the forefront after Wanda put the whammy on Bruce in So. Africa, but that was scrapped for some reason.
Life is short. STUNT IT!

Disintegrated - but maybe the gem assumes their powers & provides the ability for the wielder to use them. That might turn Thanos into more of a Super Skrull type character, but I can easily imagine them going there.

Re: Avengers 2 Discussion - SPOILERS EVERYWHERE SO STAY THE FUCK OUT
I'm thinking if the gems keep some "memory" of those they kill, perhaps Thanos could either resurrect them, or create duplicates of them, to fight the Avengers and Guardians. Because you know as well as I do that you want to see Ultron, Red Skull, Ronan, and that elf guy (Malachi?) together.
I'm going to guess right now, based on the timeline of movies, that the first Infinity War will be Thanos after the stones that are on Earth (Mind and Space, IIRC, with possibly more, particularly if the rumor about Strange having one turns out to be true), with a downer ending followed immediately in a post-credit scene with the Guardians landing on Earth and offering their support. Then the second will be closer to the Infinity Gauntlet story we know.
