yeah, i think for a set of that magnitude, going by the numbered bags is the way to go. i usually throw everything in a pile as well, unless i'm building with my daughter.

HAHA, that's how it starts...

Feh. I hardly buy Lego SW anymore. Too expensive. A $60 set costs an extra $40 because George Lucas needs TWO $10k-an-hour hookers every night? Fuck that.

I've actually got several dozen sets (mostly town) from when I was younger but since the Star Wars ones came out I haven't purchased any. There are a lot of them that look good but I just can't bring myself to spend on them instead of Star Wars...now I'm off to work on the Star Destroyer again...

updated version of the modular wall/fence for the haunted house set, featuring an alternate corner module and 'neglect damage' variant...

I finally finished the Star Destroyer and it is by far my favorite set of all time. It's just so detailed and fucking huge. Here are some pics. If you want something in particular just let me know and I'll quick snap it since neither the Executor or Star Destroyer are getting broke down. I've gotta find somewhere to put them...

I just noticed that the pictures start at the end...if you want from beginning to end pictures then start at the bottom.

What I like about the sets is the sense of scale. I've got that small Tantive IV next to the ginormous Star Destroyer but then you look at the Executor and see it utterly dwarfing the mini Star Destroyer.

there's no breastfeeding going on there, that's just a baby being held in the 'rock-a-bye baby' position.

The revealed 2013 superheroes minifigs look pretty sweet. Doctor Doom, Aquaman Venom, Nick Fury, etc. I don't have the fundage to buy the sets but I'll bricklink certain parts.

The Hobbit minifigs are kickass. I won't be buying any Hobbit sets but cool nonetheless.

Lego Rancor is awesome. Won't be buying that either.

Series 8 collectible minifigs are a mixed bunch but some good stuff among them. I'll be buying at least half of the series.

Meh. Poverty sucks.

Not to brag, but we're taking the kids to Lego Land this weekend and possibly one of the Lego stores in California. Do they have any exclusive stuff I should be looking for?
