That is just the thoughtful, insightful type of comment I've come to expect from you.
Do you cut and paste those or do you actually take the time to retype it every single time?

Back to the topic at hand, does anyone else think that the entire Ultimate thing is just a huge ripoff of the incredible work I did on Heroes Reborn?
I mean, where does Marvel get off, ripping off someone's hard work like that?

I bet it really hurt your feelings when Superman Returns came out, and no one acknowledged the obvious debt it owed to Supreme.

Actually, mark millar has said a lot of the stuff he brought up in Ultimates he got from Heroes Reborn, like SHIELD having its hand in all the super heroes cookie jars, so to speak. So there.
My fave comment in this month's Wizard is when one guy said Marvel has released more Ultimates movies this year than Ultimates comics. ZING!

Ha ha! Ultimate Spider-Woman, Jessica Drew is just a female Peter Parker clone!!
Does anyone remember a book that used to come out called "Ultimates"? It was kinda like the Avengers except in a different universe. Marvel used to put it out a few years ago.
And Ultimate Power is awesome. Even if you are illiterate, just buy it for the pretty Greg Land art.

Eh. Anybody remember Ultimates? It was this book Marvel used to do back in the day. It was pretty good as I recall. I wonder whatever happened to it?
If Dave Sim had been on the Ultimates schedule when he was doing Cerebus, the last issue would have come out in 2270.

I remember it, but I have no idea where it went. Did they finish volume 2?

The 12th issue came out in 2004.
The 13th and final issue is expected sometime in late 2008 or early 2009. Then Jeph Loeb and Joe Madiuera will put all twelve issues of Series three out in about 14 minutes.
And then Series 4 by Loeb and Ed McGuiness will have 12 issues come out over the course of eight days.
After that Frank Miller and Jim Lee are doing series 5 and they expect to have at least nine issues out between 2010 and 3150.
Then Kevin Smith and Joe Quesada are really excited to do series six, which they will put out the first issue sometime this Universe, and the second issue after the universe implodes and the next big bang occurs and 41/2 billion year go by again...

Kevin Smith. Ha.
Did he ever finish that Black Cat series from 199-whatever?

Who knows. Jack Kirby has a better chance of getting an issue out faster.

If you mean the Spider-man and Black Cat mini, yes, he finally finished it (last year methinks ).
