Re: Celebrity Death Pool!
Kasem did the voice of Cliffjumper. Cliffjumper wuz awesome. Remember that time he and Hound went on the scouting mission and they came across the Decepticons. Hound was all 'keep down and report back to Prime..' but CJ stood up and took a shot at Megatron? Cliffjumper just don't give a fuck. Awesome.

Re: Celebrity Death Pool!
I doubt anyone got a point for Marcia Wallace. I for one thought that voicing one of the main characters on The Simpsons made you immortal for so long as the show is on (eleven years past its time and counting).

I saw Marcia Wallace and thought you were talking about Marsha Warfield.

Lou Reed. Doesn't look like anyone got a point; I assume this means everyone else also thought he was immune to death.
Marcia Wallace, Lou Reed.... Fuck, these things come in threes, and the next person's going to be as awesome and as unexpected. (But also someone you don't consciously realize is in their seventies until you read the obituary.)
If I were Paul McCartney, I... well, I wouldn't hide under the table, because I'd be afraid the table would collapse and break my back.

Bad week to be born in 1942?
The Simpsons are going to retire the Edna Krabapple character. Does that mean she gets an RIP also?

Lady Gaga.
I wasn't a fan, but that was still a bit of a shock.

We are not friends, but enemies. We must not be friends. Though boredom may have strained it must not break our bonds of hatred. The mystic chords of memory, stretching from every battlefield and traitor grave to every dead heart and hearthstone all over this narrow land, will yet swell the chorus of the Confederacy, when again touched, as surely they will be, on the ass, by the worse devils of our nature.

Billy Graham turned 95.
I'm only saying, if you added him to your list, you'd be getting a point sooner rather than later.

Re: Celebrity Death Pool!
I'm related to Billy Graham somehow, so that'd be poor form.

Re: Celebrity Death Pool!
Billy Graham was on my list well before you told us you were related to him. We are talking about the evangelist and not the "Superstar", right?
22 years ago today both Freddy Mercury and Eric Carr passed away.

Re: Celebrity Death Pool!
Is it wrong that I had no fucking idea who Paul Walker is? I looked him up on Wikipedia, and my first thought was, "Yeah, dude's done nothing but shitty movies. Of course I'm not familiar with him!" I'm betting a bunch of people ran out and bought all those $3 Fast & Furious 14: Dudes Drive Fucking Cars Again blu-rays that were rotting at Walmart a few hours earlier.
I was actually saddened by news of his atomization because of shitty driving (irony, anyone?) because at first I thought it said "Paul Weller," and I momentarily mixed him up with Peter Weller, and thought to myself, "Oh, goddammit, RoboCop is dead!"

I didn't know who he was either. The only movie I've seen of his was Varsity Blues, but that was a long time ago.
