I can't believe they made a new sculpt (at least the head) for Tsui Choi and are making him part of a Target exclusive 2-pack.

This pisses me off. I really wanted the little booger. But, last year, those pices of carp were $10. They're probably gonna be $12 or more this year. And include another useless Clonetrooper. There's nothing that can make Clonetroopers interesting anymore, except maybe sculpting one with George Burns' head instead of Temuera Morrison's or Bodie Taylor's.

And, seriously, this had better be a head that we see used on a Ratts Tyrell figure later in 2008.

Is anyone sick of the prevalent "We have this figure from last year, and it was quite good, but this new one is better because it has an articulated cock" trend?

We'll get fewer and fewer new figures if people validate this by buying almost immediate "improvements" on Snowbunny Padme, ARC Gunner, Gree, and the Kashyyyk Trooper.

Want to know how I could piss a lot of people off? I found the Kashyyyk Trooper three days ago. I left that turd on the shelf. I got three of the last version; a change to the belt ain't making me drop $7 on it again.

I did find the Deuce, though. Didn't pass on him. There was only one, sadly enough.

The Padmé and ARC Gunner are a little stupid, but I am looking forward to the others. The new paint scheme on Gree is enough to get me to re-buy him; his armor is probably my favorite from ROTS and it looks much better on the new one.

I'm just now finding wave 7.5 stuff in the stores . . . I still need Pax Bonkik, the Naboo guy, and the McRebel Trooper.

Has there ever been any confirmation of exactly how many basic SW figures they're planning for this year? With wave 3 being pushed way back, have they said anything about a revamping of the numbers, or will they just flood us (with shit that won't be available in Canada, no less :frus: ) at Christmastime again?

I think they said there would be around 50-some figures in the main line based on the films, first CW series, and other EU, and the additional Clone Wars line for the new show (not including multipacks and exclusives and other shit like that). I'm assuming they're going to restart the numbering system again, since apparently everything after wave 2 will be on a different card (I think, not sure though). And they're not changing anything else except for moving back wave 3, just jamming it with the other millions of items for next year (well, they're also holding back one TFU item until the game is released, but haven't said what it is).

Sweet Christ, just thinking about all the stuff this year is making my head hurt. I didn't think they could keep it doing it like this, frankly.

Well, fuck 'em then. I can't afford $1000 at Christmas time to spend on my own stupid fucking hobbies and I refuse to go into more debt just to keep up with this stuff - especially when it's carp I'm lukewarm about at best.

I agree JJ, they blast us at Christmas and I cant afford all of the stuff and get gifts for everyone. They need to stop this shit and straighten it out.

The Endor R2 wave is finally sitting on the pegs now. The SW section at Target is starting to make me wonder what Hasbro is thinking. There are those Mugg things for $10, SW Bobbleheads, some lame ass keychains, and the most of the figures are either legend or waves of that came out 4 - 6 months ago. Actually, the Target by my house must have found an old case of Saga 2 figures because they had that GI Joe looking firespeeder pilot wave out.

No, still full price. They were mixed in with the Endor Throne C-3PO and Jerjerods.

YEs they are. If you didnt get the Cantina ones, Wal-Mart has them on their website with free site to store shipping, so you only pay retail for them.
