That was my point. Liefeld wasn't using Bedrock with any connection to anything Flintstones, making him a giant retard.

That would be like Marvel worrying that the University of Michigan was going to file suit over the use of "wolverine."

Wow.

The man must have a serious temper, or possibly bipolar disorder. Sometimes he comes across as a nice guy (talentless, but a decent person), but this, this is something completely different and uncalled for.

Okay, I don't read comics but is The Savage Hawkman a real fucking title? If so that's just utterly sad. Is he a Hawkeye ripoff? Does he have gnarly teeth and fire a crossbow?

Yup. He's the same pussy with wings who was on Superfriends. Only he's SAVAGE now!!!

I can assure you, Batman doesn't sell the way it does because it's Batman.....

Sorry, but I'm with Liefeld on this one. That's the stupidest god damned thing I have EVER heard.

While that's true, it probably sells better with Snyder writing it than it would if Liefeld were working on it.

It probably outsells Detective or any of the other thirty Bat-titles because of the creative team, but the guy in the tights who lives in a cave is the reason people started on any of them.

Yeah, but if you swapped out say Hurwitz and Finch on Batman:Dark Knight, and put them on Batman, Batman:DK wouldn't be outselling Batman because Snyder was writing it.
The key ingredient here is Batman, as the flagship title and character of the DC books.
And I would've pegged Morrison as the "head" Batman writer anyway. He's the weenie who steered Batman off on a tangent five years ago.

IIRC, Grant/Breyfogle outsold any of the revolving team of writers paired with Aparo on Batman, which is why they switched them from Detective Comics to Batman.

Not accurate.

Face is too smooth.

Its Hollywood's interpretation.

What if he drew Star Wars?

Nope.

Perspective is too correct.

Best part of that post at CBR is watching Rob and Venkman continually defend him using sock puppets.

If "Toby" isn't actually Rob, Rob might want to take out a restraining order.
