That's more than I thought and most of them are pretty crappy.

Saw the newer non exclusive comic packs today. The only one I am interested in is the Wedge/Borssk pack.

I did get the AT-TE Assault BP though

I deserve the assclown of the week award. I've been pretty distracted lately, my partner is in hospital haveing minor surgery, the dog arriving has thrown my routine out. lots of little stuff that's distracting me.

so I'm buying stuff on ebay. a few auctions. most I'm losing and a couple i win. look more closely at the payment options and read in wee small print on an auction from a french seller. i copy the text and run it through google translator and discover i just bought an empty box................

so now i have to stump up £23 for a fucking box of nothing.

I am feeling like such a 'tard right now. I'm angry with myself. i'm pissed that ebay doesn't translate pages into english. and I'm banging my head on the wall repeatedly for not running the damn text through google translator before bidding.

I have never read any of your posts, but from what I can learn I should say that for people who like the kind of posts you deliver, they are just the kind of posts such people like.

Hasn't there got to be some kind of law against that? If it was in tiny text, that's kind of bullshit.
Shit. I can't think of a good signature.

I got me Ratchet and another Resolute Trooper. I plan to pick the one of my two Troopers that looks not as good as the other and remove his vest and helmet, making him some other random Cobra. I've not been collecting Resolute for the most part, so they'll be mixed in with the rest of my Cobras.

I got the Battlefront II droids pack and the new Joker Squad pack at Forbidden Planet, a biggish comic shop in NYC. The droids are pretty shitty. I guess they look alright overall, but they're way overpriced (even at the $35 or so I paid; I wasn't gonna pay the $45 TRU is asking). The stormtroopers are pretty cool, even though Legacy is pretty gay. Their heads are all just a little too big for their helmets, so I'll just display them without them.

I also got the newest comic packs at the Times Square TRU. Wedge sucks pretty bad - he has a tiny head, mismatched sideburns, giant elbows, and preposed legs (even though he has articulated knees). The other figures are all pretty great, though.

Anyone sees the Transformers Universe Classics Legends (the tiny vehicles) of Warpath, Cosmos, and Wheelie, please let me know. These are apparently suffering "end of the line" syndrome.

I used to love that store. They had some really nice window set ups for ESB when I was a wee lad.

Apparently one of my old teachers worked there in the 80s, and my mom and sister somehow knew that, so we checked it out. They had a lot of the higher-end SW stuff on display and a lot of it looked really great. I'd never seen most of it in person so that was cool.

Not a toy, but I found an audiobook of The Dangerous Book For Boys for $4.

Should be some good car listening stuff.

Is this thread specifically for toys? Or can we post dvd, video game and misc. hauls and what not too?
"Once there were brook trout in the streams in the mountains. You could see them standing in the amber current where the white edges of their fins wimpled softly in the flow. They smelled of moss in your hand. Polished and muscular and torsional. On their backs were vermiculate patterns that were maps of the world in its becoming. Maps and mazes. Of a thing which could not be put back. Not be made right again. In the deep glens where they lived all things were older than man and they hummed of mystery."

we have the cheap DVD buys thread... nothing for video games that i know of as of yet, but there's a separate section for that, too.
