Comixology is basically giving away Marvel masterworks volumes this holiday season. I've been struggling with getting reprints of Captain Marvel for my 60's read through so I broke down & bought the first 3 volumes - 33 issues, for a grand total of $5.64 including taxes. The full Ditko spider-man run would cost around the same amount & the full x-Men 1-66 might cost a dollar or two more in case anyone wanted to have a look.

Hah. That’s not much more than cover price for the original floppies.

I recently bought the entire Fraction Hawkeye run digitally for about $7.00.
That makes it the third time I've now bought the series: floppies, Omnibus, and digital.

"The White Album" syndrome.
Then you watched it on Disney+, too.

And I've still only read the first trade. I'll need to upgrade to a complete collection when the price is right.

The Comixology app is going bye bye on Dec 4th.
All your digital books will still be available to read on the Kindle app.
My hard copies are also available whenever I want them and can never be shut down.

I've been reading via the kindle app on my desktop for about a year - since the first time they buggered around with comixology. It works fine. You purchase via amazon just like you do your diapers or whatever else & it shows up automatically in your reading. All the stuff I ever had in comixology ported over without incident. It's fine. Not great but fine.
