Why haven't they made a Slave Leia dashboard hula girl?

I've always been disappointed in the Men in black product available. NECA could do some good stuff with that license. MIB 3 was a pants movie but some of Rick Baker's work is crying out for decent plastic iteractions. I've just read that work has begun on MIB 4. Oh dear. Still, if it adds more ridiculous aliens to the mix I don't mind. They are what makes the movies. And I want decent action figures of them.

I saw the 6" Firefly figures this weekend at a card/toy show. Those are some nice looking figures.

They got a license for "retro" looking figures for a bunch of movies and TV shows. I don't really care for the style, but they seem very popular. The only set I thought looked "okay" was the Gremlins.

They are a fun throwback. I picked up Mal, Wash and Jayne from the Firefly set. And The Rocketeer.
I kinda wish we'd get some Star Wars ones. A handful of PT figures.

They'd be a fun throwback for 1/4 the price.

I don't dig 'throwback' stuff. Figures looked like shit back then because technology didn't exist to do the best job possible. Now it does. I expect high end goods for my buck.
I'm glad I bought the NECA Gremlins figures. I'd be pretty bummed if all I could find was the Funko figures. Mohawk spider Gremlin is an awesome beast to behold. The NECA Gremlins are things of beauty. Though not the Mogwai. Those things suck balls.

I saw all 5 today at Barnes & Noble. I really wanted to drop $100 right then and there on them.
Plus, Amazon has them from $15-18 each.
And holy shit, Funko also made a Rocketeer!?

While we're talking Rocketeer, I've always liked the Palisades Superbeaker figure. Very silly but cool.
That funko figure is supposed to be Billy Campbell as the Rocketeer? Doesn't look much like him. Or is it a comic appearance likeness?

Since no one would ever pose their Rocketeer action figure sans helmet, it doesn't matter what he looks like.

Oh, I dunno. If they'd done a Billy Campbell that was spot on. I guess that'd probably just be me though...

Back to the original topic and not "holy shit, I'm surprised they made this proper figure!"
My collection needs an Al Swearengen to tell the rest of my figures to fuck themselves.

The closest we'll ever get to proper Step Brothers figures.

Needs a "balls out" variant.
