Posting from his phone again would be my guess. What he meant, I can't even imagine.

Woah, call me Tycho!
I meant that I know the one character is based on the otherwise never-used in-universe McQuarrie Chewbacca design. How it became that broken English, even I don't know. I think maybe "I do know that guy's supposed to [and it was right after your comment about the resemblance]."

Police don't do hand lineups to catch crooks.
And is it his other hand? Because how would you explain it getting from Cloud City to [Tatooine] or wherever. And how was it not decomposed?
And who would give a fuck about a hand that they would need to "get it to someone"?
None of that makes sense. I'm going with the troll theory.
Nobody ever said it was the Bespin hand, and nobody ever said it was an organic hand. And I believe the report said that they wanted to return the lightsaber, not the hand. Bad Robot tweeted this photo today to name the winner of the Force For Change contest:

And given that previous reveals (the Falcon, the X-wing, the Tatooine marketplace) followed leaks, I wouldn't be surprised if this was THE hand mentioned in the rumor. It looks like Anakin's uncovered hands from AOTC and ROTS and the small part we saw of Luke's in ESB, but it also looks a bit like C-3PO's from TPM so it could just be a droid hand. So it could very well be Luke's hand with the flesh (burned? rotted?) off.

I was going to sign up for that UNICEF or whatever contest to get a walk-on. But I don't give a shit about doing it for myself, and would do it in my kids' names. And I couldn't find fuck-all about whether that was kosher or not, so fuck 'em. (Not like I don't give to charity anyway, so it just won't go to Lucasney's inevitable self-congratulatory "We raised $X bazillion dollars!" message that was posted earlier.)

Looks like Han is ripping off Malcolm Reynolds' wardrobe. I assume this means Lando will have a yellow and orange knit cap and Chewie will play with plastic dewbacks.
Lot of leaks this week that look fairly legit, that being the first. Second is a hopefully well-faked picture supposedly of the main villain, worshiping the broken helmet of Darth Vader. Umm, what the fuck? That shit was cremated. He also looks like a big bag of dicks mixed with fanwank.
The other leak is supposedly the E7 Stormtrooper helmet, which goes for a streamlined look, eliminates most of the black markings, and moves the respirator to the left side. It's adorable--something a Stormtrooper should never be. A friend posted a comparison of the E2 Clonetrooper, the E3 (standard version, since there were so many
pointless toys variations) Clonetrooper, the OT Stormtrooper, and the E7 Stormtrooper. We start with what looks like a medieval knight, very appropriate for the heroes the E2 Clonetroopers are supposed to be, and morph into the OT death's head that's more than slightly evocative of a skull. This new helmet isn't scary at all. The only reason for it seems to me to be a Hasbro rep talking to a Disney rep and saying, "We've got to come up with something so all these longtime collectors won't just use the 70,000 Stormtrooper figures (assuming they've only got one of each release) they have already!"
I'm underwhelmed so far. And it was made worse today when I was in a Goodwill bookstore that had a large collection of SW novels, and my son wanted to look at all the covers. "Wow," I found myself thinking rather often, "that one was really good. Too bad it doesn't exist so Malcolm Solo can go on the Hand Quest to rescue Luke from some fucking retarded cyborg and some teddy bear-looking Stormtroopers."

I can't even get excited for this carp. When "rumors" and "spoilers" come out a year and a half before release it's just a shit show. I love how people are using the smallest bits to try and shoe horn in any stupid fantasy they have (most of which contain Fett, half naked females, or Mandalorians).

Yeah, 'cause Han Solo would never, ever wear a trenchcoat!!!
Er, wait...

There's a difference between "a trenchcoat" and "a brown trenchcoat that looks way too much on another iconic character that everyone knows was based on Han Solo."
In any case,
ORIGINAL ORIGINAL TRILOGY ON BLU-RAY, BITCHES!!!

Comicbook.com is no authority on this subject, and this exact same rumor popped up a few months back and was quickly debunked. So while it's probably only a matter of time, it's just a very flimsy rumor at this point.
