Nick's been out to sea. I haven't been posting updates elsewhere in an effort to avoid boring people to death. He has some good stories to share when he gets back, though.

I am, however, a fan of this picture he sent me the other day, which will be Exhibit A in the Supreme Court case of My Tax Money v. The Government Giving Slicker A Check Twice A Month (2010). In case it isn't obvious by the outfit, he's on the clock.

You don't have to get up at 4am very often in the Air Force. Typically you work from 7am-4pm. I almost joined the Navy, but they said they were going to put me on a nuclear sub. Not seeing daylight for 8 months didn't seem appealing at the time.

Last I heard he had arrived in Hong Kong, which he was pretty excited about since that was one of the few ports in the region they had yet to visit.
