I'm not sure if the following section is more hilarious or creepy...
Thirty-seven people were aboard the bus en route to Winnipeg from Edmonton.
THIRTY-SEVEN fucking people sat there and watched?
Colwell said the "brave" behavior of the passengers and driver probably prevented anyone else from being hurt.
Yeah, but they all sit there and watch another get sliced...
"It's not something that happens regularly on a bus," he said. "You're sitting there enjoying your trip and then all of a sudden somebody gets stabbed. I imagine it would be pretty traumatic …

Garnet Caton, who was sitting in the seat in front of the victim, said he saw the attacker stab his seatmate, a young man sleeping with his headphones on.
Caton said he heard a "blood-curdling scream" and turned around to see the attacker holding a large "Rambo" hunting knife above the victim, "continually stabbing him in the chest area."
"He must have stabbed him 50 times or 60 times," said Caton.
Had to have been Lanny..."Whut'cha doin'? Stabbin' a guy, eh? Huh."

The guy had a fucking huge-ass knife. It's a bit hard to rescue a guy from a knife-wielding maniac when you're unarmed.

I think the deal was that it was TOTALLY horriffic, I sure don't know how I'd react exactly but I would like to think I'd grab something and at least try to beat the guy down
Further details suggest that he also kinda disemboweled the guy- a few folks arrived on scene and ended up confronting the dude, who walked towards them with the severed head- there was an hilarious quote about "When he dropped the head on the floor were were pretty sure the victim was dead"
Besides, that dude was some kinda vietnamese guy, the killer, he very likely has had experience killing people.
But in the defense of the passengers, most of the folks I saw on our trip out were kids or little old ladies, not a bunch of commandoes, bodybuilders and UFC dudes
