I figured a new topic for this was warranted - but merge away if you think it fits in under regular Wii.
I've only dl'd 2 games so far: Super Mario 3 and Turbografx World Baseball. I'm planning on getting the first Zelda to have another run at that one, as well as Super Mario 64, Super Mario World (SNES) and the Link to the Past Zelda game for SNES.
I've flipped through lots of the other titles but I've got a Genesis so I don't figure I'll waste points on those. What have you guys dl'd on yours?

Yeah, fucking with the gravity is great. Some of those tables are so retarded though. It's like its specifically designed so the cueball will eventually scratch...

Just a total ridiculous question based on curiosity: For those of you who have Wiis and didn't previously have GameCubes, have you bought or played any GameCube games on your Wii?

Not yet - I still haven't bucked up for one of those nifty controllers that can work on all the games. Once I've got one of those I'll get a couple I'm sure.

The "classic controller" doesn't work on GameCube games. Only the actual GC controller, which fits into the ports on the Wii.

i had a GC before the wii, but i hadn't opened my copy of star wars lego until i got the wii, and played it for the first time on that machine. from there, i didn't think it made sense to get the "complete saga" disc so i got SWL2: the original trilogy for GC to play on the wii. does that count?

That bites, but I'm happy I know now instead of after having paid $10 to download something.

?
downloaded games that were on the NES work with the wii controller sideways. i think the only games that require the classic controller are SNES/N64 games, if i recall correctly.
gamecube games are not available for download (at least last time i checked) and are the only games that require the GC controller. you can use the GC controller on some wii games, mortal kombat: armageddon being the one i know of (and have).

Sorry, JJ. The Classic Controller works with downloaded games. I was referring to GameCube games, which actually require the old GameCube disc.
