Computer Errors you don't want to see

I have a Gateway desktop that I rather like. When I went to use it yesterday, it had crashed. I tried to recover it, but it was late and I wasn't in the mood to mess with it. I went to turn it on today and got an error message:
3rd Master Hard Disk: S.M.A.R.T. Status BAD, Backup and Replace
Does that mean my hard disk died? How much am I looking to repair it?

Thanks. I asked a guy at Best Buy about how much it would cost to back up/replace the hard drive. They wanted over $300 to do it. Today I talked to the IT guy I work with. He gave me the quick rundown on how to change out the hard drive. I can get Windows free, so all I have to do is buy a new hard drive.

I DONT NO HOW 2 GET A PICTUER, BTU MY COMPUTER MESSED UP + SAID "THE OPERATION CULD NOT BE COMPLETE BE CAUSE U R GAY." I DONT LIEK U FAGS BUT THAUGHT MAY BE U GAY WADS NO ABOUT THE GAY SO U CULD HALP ME.

Yes, but the message came to you while You were using it.
I always get a message that says I'm Straight when I use it.
When I lend Diabolical, anarky, Rollo, and Mabudon my computer they always get the Straight Message also.
It only turns gay when you borrow it, peterpuffer.
And let me reiterate; Computers don't lie.
