Top 10 Evil Animals

Post by Newsbot »

Cute animal clips have taken over the Internet. But not every creature deserves a video montage. TIME looks at animals that are troublesome to mankind
http://www.time.com/time/specials/packa ... 02,00.html

10. Asian Carp
9. Emerald Ash Borers
8. Pandas
7. Tapeworms
6. Dingoes
5. Locusts
4. Tsetse Flies
3. Rats
2. Humans
1. Bedbugs

And there you have it. Time/CNN's list of evil animals. If you think any other animals should have been included, you are clearly wrong.

Time is clearly wrong. I imagine one of their editors must be an otter and kept that detestable species off the list, but an otter crafty enough to recognize no one will believe their list if it includes the noble bear. But still sloppy enough to include pandas.

Isn't it a copout to have half your evil "animals" be insects?

Yes. It is shocking they didn't put a snake on there.

It's also kind of a cheat to have "humans" on there. I mean, yeah, technically we are animals. But it just seems like they were trying to be "oh so very clever" by putting humans on the list.

Asian Carp don't really seem "evil" to me, either. Abundantly annoying and dangerous to the ecosystem. But not evil.

So that leaves Pandas, Dingoes, and Rats. Rats are probably on there for erroneously being blamed for the Black Plague all those centuries ago, and the stigma is still attached. Dingoes are on there because why? They may or may not have eaten some ladie's Meryll Streep's baby? And I don't get pandas at all.

Upon further investigation, the otters working at Time and CNN deny being otters.
