Anyone else tired of seeing this commercial? A lot of it sucked when it was new, especially Firehouse and Mr. Big. I hated those fuckers. Why is Almost Paradise on there? Does that really fit the "Monster Ballad" category? Unfortunately, most of this crap came out when I was in high school. Lousy glam rock.[frus]

Silent Lucidity, More Than Words, and Wind of Change don't quite fit, either.
Honestly. Man, I remember liking that song in like sixth grade, then I didn't listen to it for about ten years, but I learned about real music in the meantime, and the next time I heard the piano intro to it, I thought it was a carbon-copy cover of Bohemian Rhapsody. Every note Stryper ever played, they ripped off from Queen, Kiss, or both. Thou shalt not steal, dickheads; great example to set for the contemporary Christian music crowd.

AHAHAHAHA! Me and a guy I work with always hear Firehouse on the in-store play at work and go on about how they were the best hair band ever! And if another song comes on by ANYBODY, we'll be like; "This is good, but what if Firehouse had covered it? Then it would RULE!"
But now that I've looked at the list, I might make Nelson the greatest hair band of all time!!!

Nelson seemed cleaner than most of the other bands...not quite Christian rock clean, but close. And, their music videos were equally cheesy. They also had a famous father.
Almost Paradise still bothers me when compared to the rest of the list. Shouldn't that have opened the door for Kenny Loggins? Then again, I don't know who Mike Reno is. Maybe something about Mike Reno makes the song fit in with the rest. I'm having trouble coming up with a song that should be on the list that isn't without going through my mp3/cd collection. Maybe Europe's Final Countdown. Didn't the Bullett Boys have one?
We used to play this game at work where we went back and fourth naming glam rock/hair bands. Those days when we were both on top of our game involved digging deep into the late 80s music scene. Ahhh, the good old days.
