TV on DVD

most tv sucks these days, but there are some shining examples of good writing, acting, camera work, etc... we call those Deadwood and Arrested Development. Family Guy sucks ass, though...

I bought the complete run of Firefly for 19.99 CDN, but haven't watched any of it yet. For all the fucking hype, it better be at least half decent.

Yeah she is. And you won't be dissappointed, jj. And if you are, you're NOT A MAN!!

Anyway, I went on a splurge this weekend and bought Muppet Show Season 2, SouthPark Season 10 ( Damn, they are almost caught up to the regular season!) and Psyche Season 1. Psyche is pretty fucking funny and entertaining. If you've never seen it, I reccommend checking it out on the USA Network.

Why did you buy SP 10, EP? Aside from the hysterical "Return of Chef," that season blew hard.

I thought the World of Warcraft episode was pretty funny.

And since I just watched it, now when I read all that shit about the GIJoe movie, I keep thinking about Kyle saying

"Really?!" over and over and tilting his head as President Bush describes the 9/11 conspiracy in the "Urinal Deuce" episode.

"World of Warcraft" may be the most overrated episode in the show's history. Once you get past the initial giggles of hearing their voices come out of CG characters, you realize A) nothing happens in the episode, B) there are no truly funny moments in the episode, and C) they fucking did this about two years ago with "Fun with Weapons," a much better episode.

If Hayden Panawhateva does anything extra naughty on the DVD versions of the show (hey, she's had nearly a week at 18, you never know what they could have added right before the release, right?), don't hesitate to advise. :beard:

She reshot all her scenes so as to be completely naked.

The tagline is now "Save the Naked Cheerleader. Save the World."

And she eats a lot of hot dogs in a suggestive manner throughout the series. And makes these little moaning, whimpering sounds while she's doing it.

If she just happens to suggestively squirt mayonnaise all over herself and teeter a cute "oops" while slowly licking her fingers and looking directly at the camera.... I'm sold.

I didn't realize it until last week, but The Tick vs. Season 2 came out last month. Probably won't get it until Christmas.

SPOOOOOOOOOOOON!!!!!

I still need The Tick vs Season 1. I've got the live-action series, but it's just not the same without good old American Maid. (Maybe she should be the next moderator.)
