The Wrestler

movies are cool. here is a place to talk about how cool they are. or maybe how much they suck, sometimes. like that fucking piece of shit 'mac and me'. worst fucking movie ever, a two-hour ad for fucking coca-cola.

The Wrestler

Post by Ran »

Has anyone seen this one? I heard it is pretty good. The soundtrack is full of 80s rock. And Marisa Tomei strips to an old Scorpions song.

I've been wanting to see it (and Slumdog Millionaire) for a while now.
But when it comes to movies if they're a "limited release" I ain't gonna see it around here.

Also, as a huge fan of The Boss, I find it hilarious that his title track isn't even on the soundtrack...but it is on his own new album which also comes out tomorrow. :)

It appears Mickey Rourke will be going to Wrestlemania to fight against someone there.

I watched it in the past week, along with "Slumdog Millionaire" and "Benjamin Button". It was very good. Rourke was awesome in it. As far as the Oscars go, this one was definitely snubbed in the best picture category (as was "The Dark Knight"), because this is way better than "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button". But for my money, "Slumdog Millionaire" was the best of the three.
