Pretty cool list. Didn't read the commentary yet. Plenty of Star Wars, Star Trek, and Battlestar Galactica as expected. Haven't seen many of the old Sci-Fi movies...actually haven't seen a bunch of the newer ones either. Nice that Battle Beyond the Stars made the list (still hoping they re-release the dvd). The Yamamoto is one of the few things I remember about Star Blazers. That show was on when I was 5 or 6, and I'm pretty sure the plot was above my head.
