Arizona Senator, or maybe Representative, shot!

Tucson, AZ: A gunman, or perhaps squad of 42 Al Qaeda militants working for the Mexican drug cartels, has shot a politician in Arizona. We understand it is not Governor Jan Brewer, but are unsure who else it might be; as our staff only knows Brewer and John McCain as far as Arizona politicians go, we're going to assume it's John McCain and are prepared to pronounce him dead before any other news channel does so.

An anonymous source, known only as "Robin," tells us that some guy was shot by a missile fired from a stolen tank, used in the D-Day invasion of Normandy, to destroy half of Tucson in order to scrape up enough change to buy a Milky Way. This report is unconfirmed, but we believe credible.

I realize they've sensationalized it to death by now, but when I first read that little girl was born on 9/11 I was taken aback for a moment. Her life was bookended by tragedy.

Yes it is a tragedy but Cappy turned me onto a better story (one that I found on my own) about Major Dick Winters dying. It's a damn shame that the death of a man like that is going completely unnoticed.

WOW, that's fuckin' crazy! i just found an article saying he passed away on jan. 2, which would mean i randomly picked the 'Band of Brothers' box off the shelf and watched the entire series the exact week he passed without knowing it...
