apparently a bunch of people thought there shouldn't have been any non-white actors in 'the hunger games':

since they weren't explicitly labeled as 'black' or 'african american' in the book, but merely referred to as 'dark-skinned' these fuckwads all assumed it meant they were, idk, italian or something, i guess?

one person was shamed into closing their twitter account after their single tweet caught fire, and someone has since opened the same account and started posting memetic mutations of the original post:

The original Maggie's obnoxious bigoted ignorance.
Or, judging by the vitriol of the hate tweets directed at the "impostor", the fact that 95% of humanity doesn't get irony.

This is why I don't read Tweets anymore. It's too depressing.
