Roy from Sigfried and Roy died form Coronavirus.
Every article I see about his death has pictures of both of them, so I honestly don’t know which one is Roy.
The local tv station had something about him, too. I still don't know which one is Roy.

So if gram is 94 years old & contracts Covid, did it actually kill her? I would suggest it likely contributed..... but age & other health factors almost certainly played a role.
that's how it started in Seattle, WA, the first hotspot in the US. the virus heavily impacts people in older demographics, and especially those with underlying medical conditions, with a marked decrease in impact below 40, and they're still trying to figure out why. i found a pretty good table with statistics based on whether or not the person who died had underlying conditions or not, and the difference is stark:

so, obviously, the presence of underlying conditions has a major impact on how the body reacts to the virus. the virus still was the catalyst for death, regardless, since they were living with the underlying condition until they contracted COVID-19.

If you have a mild case of Covid19 and then get hit by a bus, do they still count it as a ‘Rona death because you had it when you died?

only if it was a coughing fit brought on by the virus, causing you to stumble into traffic.

Does the end of Bryan Adams' career count as a COVID-19 death?

Man that was surprising. I always thought of him as the sensitive type for some reason.

I did too. It was probably that song from Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves.

Ian Holm, died after a long battle with Parkinson’s. He was 88.

Obviously he’s best known as Bilbo Baggins and also the evil Android Ash in the original Alien movie.

But if you want to watch his best performance, go watch Atom Egoyan’s The Sweet Hereafter. It’s a haunting performance that has stuck with me ever since I watched it over 20 years ago.

RIP Sir Ian.

Joel Schumacher, after a year long battle with cancer. He was 80.

His Batman & Robin is one of the most reviled comic films ever, but I’m sorry he never got a chance to redeem himself.
I think he could have made an excellent Batman flick if he had chosen to not lean into the camp of the 60s show.

Did he not do part 3 with Val Kilmer as well? I thought that one was pretty good - different from Burton but still good... it's too bad folks only remember the horrible Clooney one.

Lost Boys was his too, apparently. I wouldn't have gotten that one right.

I am glad he was "acquitted" of ruining the Batman films when it was eventually revealed that WB forced most of the worst stuff in the films to sell toys.

Saw this just a few days ago. Sounds like Batman Forever was a mess from the start.
https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/bat ... 47616.html

It was an interesting read, but the quick summary is: McDonald's was pissed that the Batman movies were so dark. Michael Keaton thought the Batman Forever script sucked and turned down $15M to do it. Val Kilmer didn't talk to Schumacher for 2 weeks. Tommy Lee Jones didn't like Jim Carrey.

obviously, you've forgotten about his role in The Fifth Element as Priest Vito Cornelius.
