yeah, i've been picking up the new midnighter and authority series' on the recommendation of the guys at my store... i may have to start back-tracking and get the originals in trade.
wildC.A.T.s is still kinda retarded, though.

Oh yeah, no doubts there. I'm not talking about Jim Lee's Stormwatch either - that blew goats. Warren Ellis took over around issue 36, then wrote it up to #50, followed by a big special issue (Stormwatch vs. Aliens - which has never been reprinted, and showcases the death of a number of characters).
The book then started as The Authority, retaining only some of the previous cast. Warren Ellis took this book through approximately 20 issues, then took a break - only to be replaced by Mark Millar if I'm not mistaken. Once those two were done, it went right down hill.... but seems to have been resurrected as of last month by Grant Morrison.
If you're looking to get on board, those issues of Stormwatch between 36 and 50 set the whole table, and are some of the best superhero books I've EVER seen, anywhere.
But I've said all this before. Get out there and read it.

Did Fuji die? I remember reading a nihilistic comic where Fuji died and i was all "That sucked. Fuji died." I think it might have been that Stormwatch V. Aliens book.

I don't even remember Fuji, to be honest. Might be time to go back and read that run again.

Dude, Fuji was like this GINORMOUS creature bigger than the Hulk and Thing combined and he has no face, just eyes. I'm sure theres a pic online somewhere. Anyway, he was a cool looking character and then he died.

yeah, fuji was cool... although i don't understand why he has rippling muscles on his containment suit if he's just a cloud of gas...

Okay, but Fuji wasn't gay. i don't think. So that's off topic. i think one of the Gen13 kids was gay, weren't they? Or maybe a couple of them?

So what do you think of that DCnU Teen Titan character who is flamboyantly "out and proud"? What's his name? Chunnel? Logjam?
EDIT. It's Bunker. Who would name a Gay Super Hero after the bigot on All in the Family?
