Rock and roll is officially dead

uh, y'know, the sounds that sound good together... sometimes... and sometimes sounds like the disgusting "squish squish" sound Slicker's mom makes whenever she walks

While we're on the subject, do the record labels not realize that their continuing to issue new "greatest hits" CDs with one or two new tracks, then making those tracks unavailable for legal download without purchasing the entire album digitally (meaning fans have to re-purchase all the songs, like they had to in the old days), they're encouraging illegally downloading them?

I cannot fathom for the life of me how they can be so incredibly short-sighted.

Good point, 'Nark.

I was pissed when they released the American Land edition of Springsteen's Seeger Sessions CD...but iTunes thankfully had the 5 new songs available, so I had no problem dropping a few bucks on that. I didn't feel compelled to rebuy the whole disc.

I cried while watching that horrbile, horrible video. Why didn't you warn us that it's Fall Out Boy in the video? Everyone knows Fall Out Boy makes me cry. Nice job, Anarky. You made Bum Cake cry. Bum Cake sad.

I'm sorry. I thought saying it was the death certificate for rock and roll would be enough warning. My bad.

"Death certificate for rock & roll" could represent a number of bands/corporate sluts that are out these days. Gavin DeGraw for one, and Gwen Stefani, and Scarlett Johansson. Yes, that fucking whore is coming out with a godforsaken album this month. Scarlett the motherfucking cuntslut man-voice Johansson has ventured into the world of wannabe vocalist.

So many bands and people could be considered a death certificate for rock and roll, but I like to consider myself a coroner for rock & roll. Because I like to make musical instruments out of shitty musicians' body parts. What's next on my agenda? A lute made out of Avril Lavigne's spinal cord and Sammy Hagar's kidney stones.
You might be saying to yourself, "But BumCake, Avril Lavigne & Sammy Hagar are still alive."
And to that I say, "Oh my God!! Look at that amazing thing in the sky!!!!" and then I point up into the air and then I run away into the woods. I trip and fall on a rock, but then I get up and keep running away.

who else here thinks that "death certificate for rock n' roll" would make either an awesome band name of album name?

Didn't I make a thread over on the other site about a year ago about how much I hated Fall Out Boy? I guess they read that and said to each other in their daily circle jerk, "Hmm...how can we get more people to hate us?" "I've got it! Let's cover Michael Jackson!"

See, before watching this video, I just plain hated them. Now I want them dead.
Good. Bad. I'm the guy with the gun.
