Gwen Stefani

uh, y'know, the sounds that sound good together... sometimes... and sometimes sounds like the disgusting "squish squish" sound Slicker's mom makes whenever she walks

Gwen Stefani

Post by Eternal Padawan »

So most of you longtime listeners know my current situation.

Lets just say it would be GREATLY IMPROVED if any of you could in any way possible hook me up with an advance copy of Gwen's new CD "Sweet Escape"

I don't need all the bells and whistles like the booklet and stuff. Just a burn with the music on it. I will pay good money for it.

And you'll have my eternal gratitude. And so will my erogenous zone.

So call your friends at Interscope, or steal one out of the warehouse you work at. Whatever it takes.

Thanks in advance, citizens.

Wow. People not only listen to her carp, but they like it so much that they'll provide "favors" to get it?

I loved her in No Doubt, and I thought the first single off her last album was good, so I made the mistake of getting the whole CD when it came out. Of all the CDs I've ever owned, only "Lucaccentric" was worse. Maybe. It's pretty damned close.

I wish the members of No Doubt would gang up and beat the shit out of her until some sanity returns to her frazzled little brain. Then they should beat up Gavin Rossdale. Come on, Gavin, you're in a fairly decent band and you let your wife embarass herself like that?

However, given the importance, on the off chance I can come up with an advance copy, consider it yours.

The exact quote was "I will do ANYTHING for that CD"

And I said "You'll marry me?" and she said "Nothing long-term like that."

But she was so excited, I'm almost sure I could have taken her in a manly fashion at the mere prospect of getting it early. So i'm certain if I put a copy in her hands, I will be dehydrated, tired and smiling the following morning. And maybe even the morning after that.

I'm coming up on my 500 day anniversary, people. Chop chop!

I think Dec 5th or 12th. I've been spreading the word. I tried the music coordinator on my show, I tried calling Interscope and using my meager influence as a "Warner Bros" employee, I tried e-mailing local radio stations.

Anything you can do to help. : )

If I hear anything, I'll let ya know, anything to help out in this most important "department"

A good friend of mine is actually a Gwen Stefani fan of sorts and he is also pretty good with black/grey market stuff, so I can at least ask him if he knows anything :D

Do you guys have "Chinatown" style places where bootlegs can be had cheap and easy?? You could try there if you have any such places...

OH and I'll try my radio industry types connections, too, if anyone might actually have the "real thing", they might

Through diligence, hard work, and a little luck, we have managed to track down all the tracks and download them. Some are a little rough, but she is satisfied until the actual CD comes out in a couple weeks.

She did pretty much all the searching online, so I'm not going to get rewarded the way I wanted to (sigh)...

But thank you to all of you who put in effort on my behalf. I appreciate it.

She is so hawt.

Not.

She looks like frigging Jay Leno in a wig in this pic:

Maybe when the new mods finish with Dell, they can make him use that as an avatar.

I would have put her in the Pretty-fugly category, but I saw her "Cool" music video where she's her natural brunette and she's pretty damn hot. I don't dig all the make-up she cakes on herself.
