Do you ever see somebody when you are watching a film and think "Man, where've I seen him/her before?" I do that all the time. And then I head to IMDB and check them out and sort of start following their career. So when they hit it big, I can say "Hey, they were awesome in..." Here's just a few people I knew were gonna be big stars.
Viggo Mortensen. My parents saw a little film called Indian Runner directed by Sean Penn and couldn't shut up about this guy. (Viggo, not Sean). So I started noticing when his name would pop up in the credits. Like Boiling Point and Crimson Tide. Then G.I Jane and 28 Days, people started taking notice. Now he's like this huge star or something cause of some Ring movies...
Kiera Knightly. I saw her name in Episode 1 and I realized, hey she's as hot as Natalie Portman since noone can tell them apart. Then I saw her in a daffy little Robin Hood movie. Then she got indy cred with Bend it like Beckham. And now, viola, shes like a huge pirate star. And soon to be a huge Authurian Legend star with...
Clive Owen. Check out the Driver series from BMW.com. Clive is the shizznit. Got noticed by about five people in The Croupier. And then he had some cool roles in Bourne Identity and Gosford Park. he's my choice to replace Pierce as 007.
Elizabeth Banks. I just saw her in Seabiscuit and I was like "Damn. She look s familiar..." Turns out shes also Betty Brant in Spiderman and she was in Catch me If You Can. I think we can expect big things from her down the road.
